Under Mission Shakti, pregnant women and nursing mothers from socially and economically disadvantaged sections of society are covered by PMMVY. The allocations made under the PMMVY are sufficient to cover the targeted group of beneficiaries under the PMMVY. Budget estimates (BE) for 2023-24 under PMMVY are ₹2067.86 crore.
