Asus Launches ExpertBook P Series Laptops in India
Asus has unveiled its latest ExpertBook P Series laptops in India, featuring cutting-edge Intel chipsets and advanced AI capabilities. The new models—ExpertBook P1, P3, and P5—are designed for professionals and businesses, boasting military-grade durability and robust enterprise support. Each laptop runs on Windows 11 and is equipped with a range of security features, including a dedicated TPM 2.0 chip and self-healing BIOS.
Pricing and Availability of ExpertBook P Series
The pricing for the Asus ExpertBook P Series in India starts with the ExpertBook P1, available at Rs. 39,990 for the base model, which includes an Intel Core i3 processor, 8GB of RAM, and 512GB of storage. The ExpertBook P3 is priced at Rs. 64,990 and features an Intel Core i5 chipset, 16GB of RAM, and 512GB of storage. The premium model, ExpertBook P5, comes with an Intel Core Ultra 5 chip, 16GB of RAM, and 1TB of storage, retailing at Rs. 94,990.
These laptops will be available for purchase on Flipkart starting April 21, with additional options through Flipkart Minutes. Customers who buy between April 21 and April 23 will receive an extended warranty and accidental damage protection, valued at Rs. 3,499 and Rs. 1,499, respectively. A special launch promotion will also offer benefits of up to Rs. 3,000 from April 21 to April 27. All models are presented in a sleek Misty Grey color.
Specifications of the ExpertBook P Series
The Asus ExpertBook P1 is offered in two screen sizes—14-inch and 15.6-inch—both featuring a full-HD (1,920 x 1,080 pixels) anti-glare IPS display with a 16:9 aspect ratio and peak brightness of 300 nits. It is powered by an Intel Core i7-13620H processor, supported by 16GB of DDR5 RAM and expandable up to 64GB. Storage options include up to 1TB of M.2 NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD, alongside Intel UHD Graphics.
This model includes a full-size keyboard with 1.35 mm key travel, an HD camera, dual speakers, and a dual microphone array enhanced by Asus AI noise-canceling technology. Connectivity features include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C with DisplayPort support, USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, HDMI 1.4, a Kensington nano lock slot, an RJ45 ethernet port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The laptop is powered by a 50Wh 3-cell lithium polymer battery.
The ExpertBook P3 shares similar specifications but features a 14-inch full-HD display with up to 400 nits brightness and 100 percent sRGB coverage. It also includes a 1080p Full HD camera with IR functionality for Windows Hello and a privacy shutter. Connectivity options mirror those of the P1, with Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.4 enhancements.
As the flagship model, the ExpertBook P5 offers the same display options as the other models but can be upgraded to a WQXGA (2,560 x 1,600 pixels) resolution with a 144Hz refresh rate. It is powered by an Intel Core Ultra 7 258V processor, with up to 32GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of M.2 PCIe 4.0 SSD storage. The P5 also features an Intel AI Boost NPU, delivering a combined compute power of 115 tera operations per second (TOPS).
Durability and Security Features
All models in the Asus ExpertBook P Series run on Windows 11 Home, with a recommendation for business users to upgrade to Windows 11 Pro for enhanced security features. The laptops come equipped with the Asus Expert Guardian suite, self-healing BIOS, and a discrete TPM 2.0 chip. A chassis intrusion detection feature alerts users if the laptop’s chassis has been opened during the previous session. Additionally, Asus provides a complimentary year of McAfee Premium membership for added security.
The ExpertBook P3 and P5 models are certified to meet US military-grade MIL-STD-810H standards. Their hinges have been tested for 50,000 open-close cycles, and the I/O ports are reinforced to withstand up to 9 kg of pressure.
