Apple Arcade Expands with Six New Games
Apple is set to enhance its Apple Arcade subscription service by adding six exciting new games on April 3. Among the highlights are fresh titles from the beloved Katamari and Space Invaders franchises. In addition to these, players can look forward to the relaxing puzzle game puffies, the management simulation RollerCoaster Tycoon Classic+, the board game The Game of Life 2+, and the educational Sesame Street Mecha Builders+. Existing games like NBA 2K25 Arcade Edition, PGA Tour Pro Golf, and Skate City: New York will also receive updates in March.
New Titles Launching on April 3
On April 3, Apple Arcade subscribers will gain access to a diverse lineup of games. This includes the much-anticipated Katamari Damacy Rolling LIVE, marking the franchise’s return after an eight-year hiatus. Developed by Bandai Namco, this action-packed game invites players to roll their Katamari, an adhesive ball, to collect various objects scattered throughout the game world. The objective is to “Roll, stick and grow,” as players expand their Katamari and unlock new stages while attracting an in-game audience.
Another notable addition is Space Invaders Infinity Gene Evolve, created by Taito Corporation. This game evolves in both gameplay and visual style as players progress through levels, transitioning from retro graphics to a 3D shooter experience. Players can choose between classic shooting and bullet hell modes, offering two distinct ways to tackle each level. With 36 main stages, 30 extra stages, and 100 challenge stages that change each time, the game promises high replayability.
Exciting Gameplay Experiences
In addition to the action titles, Apple Arcade will introduce puffies, a relaxing puzzle game that combines jigsaw puzzles with nostalgic puffy stickers. Players will collect hand-designed stickers by solving puzzles across various levels, complete with a ranked leaderboard and daily challenges to keep the gameplay fresh and engaging.
RollerCoaster Tycoon Classic+ is another exciting addition, offering an ad-free experience that combines the original RollerCoaster Tycoon and its sequel. Players can design and manage their own amusement parks, complete with thrilling roller coasters. This enhanced version for Apple devices includes three expansion packs: Wacky Worlds, Time Twister, and Toolkit, providing even more content for fans of the series.
Family-Friendly and Educational Options
The Game of Life 2+, developed by Marmalade Game Studio, brings a modern twist to the classic board game. Players can explore various life choices, including career paths, family decisions, and personal aspirations, all while enjoying exclusive outfits available only on Apple Arcade.
Lastly, Sesame Street Mecha Builders+, created by StoryToys, is an educational puzzle game designed for children aged 2-6. Featuring beloved characters like Elmo and Cookie Monster, the game incorporates activities centered around science, math, and engineering, making learning fun and interactive for young players.
