When Dance Queens Clash Over Tomorrow’s Plans

Anupama’s in full celebration mode, talking about why Navratri holds such a special place in everyone’s hearts. For nine straight days, Gujarat doesn’t just celebrate—it transforms completely. The entire state pulses with festivities. She points out something pretty cool: people literally fly in from across the globe just to witness authentic Garba and Dandiya here. It’s not an exaggeration. This festival? It’s the city’s heartbeat. She invites everyone to grab their sticks and join the dance circle.

Sarita’s already got her mind on what comes next. “Today Garba, tomorrow road trip,” she says, clearly excited about both. Leela jumps in with her trademark caution. Don’t get so lost in the dancing that nobody can drag themselves out of bed tomorrow morning, she warns the group. But Sarita? She’s not having any of that negativity. They’re “dance ranis,” she declares—queens who don’t understand the concept of being tired. Maybe Leela should worry about her own energy levels instead. (The sass is real, and honestly, who can blame her?) Anupama extends the invitation one more time. Everyone should join in the Garba and Dandiya fun tonight. There’s a quiet moment where her thoughts drift somewhere else entirely. She’s missing Anuj. The feeling passes, but it’s there.

Cookers, Complaints, and the Art of Overpacking

The Shah household kicks into preparation mode. Bags are being packed, lists are being checked, and then Leela walks in carrying something nobody expected—a pressure cooker. Anupama spots this immediately and can’t help asking why on earth she’s bringing kitchen equipment on a road trip. Leela’s got her justification ready to go. Devika and Prarthana can’t eat food from outside, she explains matter-of-factly, so she’s making sure they’ve got home-cooked options available. Problem solved in her mind. Prem, Ansh, and Raja aren’t thrilled about this latest addition to their luggage situation. The bus is already stuffed with bags, they complain. There’s barely room for actual people at this point. Rahi makes an observation that probably doesn’t win her any points with the ladies. Girls need way too many things, she says.

Anupama lays down the law right there—whoever shows up late gets left behind, no arguments, no exceptions. She rallies her entire crew together as everyone gears up for what’s about to be one interesting journey. You can feel the excitement building despite all the logistical chaos happening around them.

Leela’s mind wanders back to their previous trip. Those memories are clearly strong. Anupama catches her expression and makes a promise. This trip’s going to create just as many unforgettable moments as the last one did. Hasmuk brings out emojis for everyone in the group. It seems like a small thing, but there’s thought behind it. Ansh notices Mahi’s still carrying some anger around with her. Let it go for a bit, he tells her. Just enjoy what’s coming. Mahi agrees—she’ll try to shake it off. Prem explains that these little emojis aren’t just cute decorations. They’re supposed to remind everyone why they’re doing this whole thing in the first place. There’s a purpose beyond just taking a vacation.

The Crew Gets Bigger (And More Complicated)

Anupama announces what they’re calling themselves: the “Dabang Ladies.” The name fits the energy she’s trying to build here. Hasmuk offers his wisdom before they head out—stay fearless out there, keep your eyes open, don’t miss anything. Prem encourages the whole group to really explore what India’s got to offer. The culture, the experiences, all of it’s waiting for them.

Right when everyone thinks they know who’s going, Khyati and Meeta appear. This catches everyone completely off guard. Anupama thanks them for deciding to join, genuinely happy about the surprise. But Parag knows what’s running through everyone else’s minds right now. They’re all thinking Khyati’s presence might cause problems, might mess up the whole trip’s vibe. Anupama doesn’t let those worries settle in. She reassures Parag directly—don’t stress about it. Prarthana’s going to be completely fine because Khyati’s coming along too. It’ll work out.

Bharti can’t resist making a comment about their expanding group. Mahi and Rahi together were already potentially explosive, she points out. And now Anupama’s added Khyati and Meeta into this mix? But she follows up quickly—it’s okay, they’ll manage somehow. (Because really, what other choice is there at this point?) Hasmuk and Prem give everyone one final push to actually have fun with this adventure. Anupama makes an observation she’s noticed over her years. Trips become so much more enjoyable when husbands support their wives taking these breaks instead of creating guilt about it. It’s a truth that needed saying out loud.

Then the next mini-drama unfolds. Leela and Sarita both want the front seat. Neither’s backing down. Anupama plays referee and suggests they take turns riding up front throughout the journey. Crisis temporarily averted, though you can tell neither’s fully satisfied with this compromise. The Dabang Ladies climb onto the bus and immediately get surprised. Their driver’s a woman. Every single face shows genuine shock—they clearly weren’t expecting this twist. Meanwhile, the guys left behind aren’t sitting around moping. Prem, Anil, Parag, Raja, Hasmuk, and Paritosh start making their own plans for enjoying themselves while the ladies are gone.

Then the first real obstacle hits. The driver speaks up suddenly with bad news—the tire’s punctured. Just like that. They haven’t even left yet and there’s already a problem. Leela’s mind goes straight to the spiritual explanation. Maybe this is God sending them a sign that they shouldn’t go on this trip at all. Should they call the whole thing off? Anupama shuts down that negative spiral immediately. Don’t think like that, she tells Leela firmly. It’s just a flat tire. Nothing more, nothing less.

Pari reveals the banner she created for the bus. It’s sitting there ready to be displayed once they actually get moving. Anupama looks around at her family and friends—this complicated, messy, beautiful group of people. She lets herself hope for something specific. Maybe this trip will mend some of the broken relationships between everyone. Old connections could find their way back to being whole again. Her eyes land on Rahi and Mahi, and both of them look absolutely shocked by something.

The Episode Ends Here

Precap: Anupama’s worried about Rahi. Through some twist of seating arrangements, Rahi ends up sitting right next to Anupama on the bus. Devika and Preet watch this development with knowing smirks on their faces. Some guy starts harassing Rahi when she’s in the washroom. Anupama, Kinjal, Meeta, and Pari don’t hesitate even for a second—they go after him.
