According to a report from the Times of India, Pratap Singh, Assistant Inspector General of the Stamp and Registration Department in Ayodhya, confirmed the transaction, stating, “We can only confirm that sale deeds have taken place. Once the local development authority approves the building plan, one would know what is going to be the purpose of the two investments.”
Bachchan’s first purchase in Haveli Avadh, which is also near the Ram Mandir, was valued at Rs 4.54 crore. While this initial acquisition may serve residential purposes, the newly acquired land is anticipated to be dedicated to social or charitable initiatives, reflecting the actor’s commitment to community service.

My own efforts at creating events or acts to contribute to it shall be prime, and the list of the charitable work done shall be soon visible to all.”
