Scene 1: Anjali’s Tense Conversation with Pankaj

He makes fun of Anjali, mocking her decision to work under Raghav. “So, you’re Raghav’s junior now?” he says sarcastically. “Why go through all of that if you’re just going to work under him in the end?” Anjali stays quiet for a moment, trying to keep her emotions in check. She knows Pankaj is angry, but she has a lot on her plate. She finally speaks up, explaining that she didn’t have much of a choice. She’s doing this to protect her father, who’s in a tough spot. “I’m trapped in a huge debt,” she admits. “I don’t know how to repay it, but I have to do this for him.”
Pankaj doesn’t let up. He continues to challenge her choices, telling her that girls like Padma won’t get justice if Anjali keeps going down this path.
