Samsung has officially announced the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+ during its first Galaxy Unpacked event of the year. These new smartphones come packed with advanced technology, including a custom Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chip and 12GB of RAM. They also feature a robust triple rear camera system, led by a 50-megapixel primary camera. Both devices run on Android 15, enhanced by Samsung’s One UI 7 interface. Innovative AI Features

This year, Samsung emphasizes the integration of artificial intelligence in the Galaxy S25 series. The new Galaxy AI features aim to enhance everyday tasks and improve photography. Notable additions include “Now Brief,” which provides quick summaries of information, and “Night Video with Audio Eraser,” designed to enhance video quality in low-light conditions.

Moreover, users can access Google Gemini features directly within Samsung apps, such as Samsung Notes. This integration allows for a seamless experience when jotting down ideas or managing tasks. Samsung has also committed to providing seven years of operating system and security updates for both models. On the other hand, the Galaxy S25+ is priced at $999 for the base model with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The 512GB version of the S25+ will cost $1,119. Samsung offers a variety of color options for both models. The Galaxy S25 will be available in Icy Blue, Mint, Navy, and Silver Shadow. Exclusive colors like Blueblack, Coralred, and Pinkgold will be available through Samsung’s website. Pre-orders for these devices are expected to begin soon, generating excitement among tech enthusiasts.

Both the Galaxy S25 and S25+ are dual SIM smartphones that run on Android 15 with One UI 7. They are powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy processor and come with 12GB of LPDDR5x RAM. Storage options include 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB, catering to various user needs.

For selfies, both devices feature a 12-megapixel front camera. Connectivity options are extensive, including 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, and Bluetooth 5.3, ensuring users stay connected. With an IP68 rating, these smartphones are resistant to dust and water, making them durable for everyday use.

Battery life is another highlight of the Galaxy S25 series. The Galaxy S25 is equipped with a 4,000mAh battery, while the S25+ features a larger 4,900mAh battery. The S25 supports 25W wired charging, while the S25+ can charge at 45W. Both models also support Fast Wireless Charging 2.0 and Wireless PowerShare for reverse wireless charging.

In terms of design, the Galaxy S25 measures 146.9 x 70.5 x 7.2mm and weighs 162g, while the S25+ measures 158.4 x 75.8 x 7.3mm and weighs 190g.
