Scene 1: Jagtap Questions Ashika
The episode begins with Jagtap standing in court, his tone firm as he questions Ashika. “Where were you during Isha’s accident on November 2?” he asks pointedly. Ashika hesitates for a moment, her eyes darting towards Rajat for support. Before she can answer, Rajat rises from his seat and says confidently, “She was with me that day.” The courtroom murmurs in reaction to Rajat’s statement. The judge intervenes and instructs Rajat to step into the witness box. As he walks forward, Ashika leans towards him and whispers urgently, “Handle this carefully.”
Jagtap, unfazed by Rajat’s declaration, begins to probe further. His questions become sharper, and Rajat starts to falter under the pressure. Before Jagtap can press harder, Savi stands up and addresses him. “Stop harassing Rajat,” she says firmly, her voice cutting through the tension. The judge observes the commotion and declares the session adjourned until the next day. With that, everyone begins to leave the courtroom.
Scene 2: Jagtap Confronts Savi Outside
As the crowd disperses, Jagtap corners Savi outside the courtroom. “Why did you stop me? I could’ve exposed Rajat’s lies,” he says, his frustration evident. Savi takes a deep breath and explains, “Rajat was with Isha that day. He lied in court, but I stopped you because I care about him. Even though he doesn’t acknowledge our relationship, I don’t want his reputation to be tarnished.” Her voice softens as she adds, “Please don’t push further questions that could harm him.” Jagtap’s expression shifts as he absorbs her words. After a pause, he reluctantly agrees to her request. Unbeknownst to both of them, Rajat overhears their conversation from a distance. His face betrays a mix of guilt and realization before he quietly walks away.
Scene 3: Bhagyashree Confronts Tara
At home, Bhagyashree approaches Tara with a storm of emotions. “Why did you support Ashika in court?” she demands, her voice trembling. Tara looks at her calmly and responds, “I didn’t support Ashika. I supported Rajat.” With that, she turns and walks towards her room, leaving Bhagyashree standing there in disbelief. Unable to contain her frustration, Bhagyashree breaks down. She mutters to herself, “Ashika is ruining everything in our family. I can’t stand her anymore.”
Scene 4: Rajat Warns Ashika
Later in the evening, Rajat drives Ashika home. As they approach her house, he stops the car and looks at her seriously. “You need to tell your boyfriend to stop creating trouble. This is getting out of hand,” he says sternly. Ashika nods silently, stepping out of the car. Rajat drives away, his mind preoccupied with the day’s events. Meanwhile, Savi and Rajat return home, visibly exhausted. Sai greets them with enthusiasm, saying, “Let’s go out for dinner!”
Both Savi and Rajat refuse, citing their tiredness. But Sai is persistent. “If you don’t agree, I’ll go on a hunger strike,” she declares dramatically. Frustrated by her insistence, Sai storms off. Savi follows her and sits her down for a talk. “You can’t force people like this,” Savi says gently. Her words seem to hit home, and Sai eventually apologizes for her behavior. She promises not to create unnecessary fights again. Seeing the exchange, Rajat reflects silently. Savi is making an effort to fix Sai’s mistakes, while Ashika and I are busy covering for Kian’s. Sai notices Rajat’s thoughtful expression and walks over to him. “I’m sorry,” she says. “Can we all just get along?” Rajat agrees, and Sai insists they have dinner together and sleep in the same room as a gesture of unity.
Scene 5: An Unusual Night
That night, the three share a bed as per Sai’s request. As they settle down, Sai takes Savi and Rajat’s hands and joins them together. “I want us to sleep this way,” she says with a smile. As the night progresses, Sai quietly slips out of the room. The next morning, Savi wakes up to find Rajat still holding her hand. Flustered, she pulls her hand away and quickly gets up. Rajat wakes up as well and watches her leave the room, his expression unreadable.
Scene 6: The Next Hearing
The next day in court, the hearing resumes. Jagtap resumes his questioning, targeting Rajat’s previous claim. “You said you took Isha to the hospital. How could you have been with Ashika at the same time?” Rajat hesitates before replying, “Ashika was with me in the car.” Jagtap counters confidently, “I have evidence that proves you’re lying.” He requests the judge’s permission to call Aman as a witness. The judge agrees, and Aman steps forward. He testifies that Rajat was with him on November 2, directly contradicting Rajat’s earlier statement. Aman also presents evidence to support his claims.
Jagtap concludes his argument, stating, “Rajat and others are conspiring to protect Ashika with lies. The truth is, Ashika is responsible for Isha’s accident and should be punished.” The courtroom falls silent as everyone processes the revelation.
