Launch of the Online Hindi Course
In a proud moment for the nation, Shri Arjun Ram Meghwal, Minister of State (I/C) of the Ministry of Law and Justice, announced the launch of an “Online Hindi Course on the Constitution of India.” This initiative aims to make constitutional knowledge accessible to all citizens, regardless of their educational or social backgrounds. During the event, Shri Meghwal highlighted the importance of honoring the vision of India’s forefathers. He encouraged citizens to work towards a nation that truly embodies the principles of Justice, Liberty, Equality, and Fraternity.
The online course is designed to empower individuals with a comprehensive understanding of the Constitution. It will cover essential aspects of the Constitution through 15 informative videos. The first chapter outlines the course’s learning objectives, duration, enrollment process, fees, and the types of certificates available upon completion. This initiative seeks to create awareness about the Constitution, fundamental rights, and duties, moving beyond mere literacy to foster an enlightened citizenry.

Three years ago, on November 25, 2021, the Ministry of Law and Justice launched an Online English Course on the Indian Constitution as part of the ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’ celebrations. This earlier initiative laid the groundwork for expanding constitutional education to a wider audience.
The current course builds on this foundation, aiming to reach even more citizens. The vital contributions to this online course come from experts like Dr. Anju Rathi Rana, Additional Secretary in the Department of Legal Affairs, and Prof. (Dr.) Faizan Mustafa, Former Vice Chancellor of NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad. Their expertise ensures that the course is not only informative but also engaging and relevant to contemporary society.
