However, Shubha and Tanuja oppose the idea of the marriage happening in their home. Even though Appu’s grandfather agrees to the marriage, her grandmother refuses to give her blessing, leaving both Chhoton and Appu disappointed. The elders of the Bose family insult Lalan and his mother, making them feel unwelcome. Anuradha, feeling deeply humiliated, shares her pain with the family. She reveals how they lost everything in the past when Lalan’s father was betrayed by a business partner.

Shubho is alarmed by Anuradha’s words, and just then, Anirudh arrives. When he learns that the elders have decided to cancel Appu’s wedding in their home, he becomes furious.
