PM applauds as number of tap water connections reach 13 crore from 3 crore in last 4 years

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi congratulated the people on the number of tap water connections touching 13 crore from 3 crore in just 4 years. The Prime Minister said that Jal Jeevan Mission is proving to be a milestone in making clean water available to people and improving ease of living and public health.

In response to Union Minister Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat’s post, the PM posted in X:

โ€œMany congratulations for this wonderful achievement! ‘Jal Jeevan Mission’ will prove to be a milestone in providing pure drinking water to my family members in rural India. It will not only be helpful in solving their problems.”, but will also be ensuring their better health.”
