Open Day and Skill Development Event during One Week One Lab programme at CSIR-CGCRI, Kolkata

Under the “One Week One Lab (OWOL)” program, CSIR-Central Glass and Ceramic Research Institute (CGCRI), Kolkata organized an Open Day and Skills Development event on 24.08.2023, with the aim of creating awareness in S&T among ordinary people and artisans. Dr. Suman Kumari Mishra, director of CSIR-CGCRI, welcomed the participants. Dr. Ramanuj Naryan, director of CSIR-Institute of Minerals and Materials Technology, graced the occasion as a key guest, delivering a lecture highlighting the connection between science and society. Approximately 100 participants from rural and urban areas participated in the program and underwent skills development/demonstration on terracotta pottery making. CSIR-CGCRI products and technologies were also presented during the event.
