Coal Ministry Receives 35 Bids for 7th Round of Commercial Coal Mine Auctions
The seventh round of commercial coal mine auctions was launched by the designated authority, Ministry of Coal, on 29 March 2023 for 103 coal mines. The deadline for submitting the offer was June 27, 2023.
A total of 35 offline bids were received for 18 collieries, where two or more bids were received for seven mines. Online bids received as part of the auction process will be opened on 28 June 2023 in New Delhi.
