Shri Parshottam Rupala held a bilateral meeting today with Canada’s Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food

Minister of Fisheries, Livestock and Dairy Industry Shri Parshottam Rupala today held a bilateral meeting with Canadian Minister of Agriculture and Agribusiness, Madame Marie-Claude Bibeau.

The two sides discussed potential bilateral cooperation to strengthen livestock health management systems, livestock genetic upgrades, biosecurity measures, capacity building, etc. Both sides felt that there is much to learn from each other in related fields.

The exchange of information and expertise will help build knowledge and capacity of each other’s livestock sectors, with mutual benefits for both countries.

Both dignitaries discussed various ideas to further strengthen the uniquely close and special friendship between India and Canada.
