The prime minister chaired a high-level meeting to take stock of the situation following the train crash in Odisha. Shri Modi is also heading to Odisha to review the situation.

The prime minister’s office tweeted:

โ€œPrime Minister Narendra Modi chaired a meeting to take stock of the situation following the train crash in Odisha. At the review meeting, aspects of rescue, relief, and medical care for those affected were discussed.

“Prime Minister Narendra Modi is leaving for Odisha where he will review the situation following the train crash.”
