Daag Dehalvi (25 May 1831 โ 17 March 1905), a poet known for his Urdu ghazals. He belonged to the old Delhi school of Urdu poetry and his real name was Nawab Mirza Khan. Most of his life was spent in Delhi, which appears in his poetry. Daag Dehalvi’s poetry presents a true picture of love. Gulzare-Dag, Aftabe-Dag, Mhatabe-Dag, and Yadgare-Dag are four of his divans, all of which have been published. ‘Fariyade-dag’ is one of his masnavi (Khandakavya). His style became particularly popular due to its simplicity. His poetry became more popular due to the cleanliness and due to the qualities of the language, but one of the reasons is that his poetry is also elegant. He was born on May 25 1831 in Delhi.
Rash Behari Bose (25 May 1886 – 21 January 1945), an Indian revolutionary who played an important role in the organization of ‘Gadar’ and ‘Azad Hind Fauj’ against British rule. He not only within the country but also in other countries conducted revolutionary activities against the British government and tried to bring freedom to India. Rash Behari Bose planned to bomb Delhi’s then Viceroy of India, Lord Charles Harding, planned the Ghadar, went to Japan, and established the Indian Independence League and later the Azad Hind Fauj. Although his efforts to liberate the country were not successful, his role in the freedom struggle of the country was important. He was born on 25 May 1886 in Village–Subaldaha, Purba Bardhaman, West Bengal, India.
Ramkinkar Baij (25 May 1906 โ 2 August 1980), an Indian sculptor and painter, one of the pioneers of modern Indian sculpture and a key figure of Contextual Modernism. He was born on 25 May 1906 in Jugipara, Bankura District, Bengal, British India.
Karan Johar, an Indian film director, producer, costume designer, actor, and television personality who works in Hindi films. Johar made his directorial debut with the blockbuster romance Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998) which earned him the Filmfare Awards for Best Director and Best Screenplay. Some of his best works include Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham (2001) and Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna (2006), My Name Is Khan (2010), and many more. My Name Is Khan (2010) earned him his second Filmfare Award for Best Director. He also got the Padma Shri award in 2020. Johar was born on 25 May 1972 in Bombay, Maharashtra, India.

Krushna Chandra Gajapati (26 April 1892 โ 25 May 1974), a key personality and regarded as the architect of an Independent united Odisha State. He was also known as Maharaja Sir Krushna Chandra Gajapati Narayana, was a key personality and regarded as the architect of an Independent united Odisha State. He died on 25 May 1974 at the age of 82 Paralakhemundi.
LaxmikantโPyarelal, an Indian composer duo, consisting of Laxmikant Shantaram Kudalkar and Pyarelal Ramprasad Sharma. Both are considered among the most successful composers in Hindi film history and composed music for about 750 Hindi movies from 1963 to 1998, working for almost all notable filmmakers, including Raj Kapoor, Dev Anand, B.R. Chopra, Shakti Samanta, Manmohan Desai, Yash Chopra, Boney Kapoor, J. Om Prakash, Raj Khosla, L V Prasad, Subhash Ghai, K Viswanath, and Manoj Kumar. Laxmikant died on 25 May 1998 at the age of 60 in Nanavati Hospital, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
Sunil Dutt (6 June 1929 – 25 May 2005), a famous film actor and politician. He was educated at Jai Hind College in Mumbai. He started his career as an announcer in Radio Ceylon. Radio Ceylon is the oldest radio station in South Asia. Dutt Saheb became extremely popular as an announcer. He had a lot of interest in acting. He soon made a mark in this area. His first film was Railway Station which was made in 1955 and the film Mother India (1957) was a big hit. This film made him a Bollywood star. He acted in more than 50 films and produced and directed many films. He died on 25 May 2005 in the Jhelum district of undivided Punjab.
Bhagwat Rawat (13 September 1939 – 25 May 2012), a progressionist poet and essay writer. He was also the President of Madhya Pradesh Progressive Writers Association and the editor of ‘Vasudha’ magazine. Bhagwat Rawat was famous as the top poet, litterateur of modern Hindi poetry, and the representative poet of the grind away laborers. He died on 25 May 2012.
