UPSC Announces Qualified Candidates for Engineering Services Interview
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the list of candidates who have successfully qualified for the Interview/Personality Test following the Engineering Services (Main) Examination, 2026, held on June 21, 2026. While the results are encouraging for many aspiring engineers, candidates must ensure they meet all eligibility requirements to attend the next stage of the selection process.
Each candidate listed must present original documents as proof of their claims related to age, educational qualifications, and, if applicable, community and benchmark disability certifications during the Personality Test. The UPSC strongly advises candidates to prepare their certificates beforehand, ensuring a smooth verification process when they arrive for the Interview.
Mandatory Updates Required for Candidates
In an important procedural step, the UPSC will open a 15-day window after the announcement of the Main Examination results. During this period, candidates who have made it through to the Personality Test will be required to log into a specified portal to confirm their personal details, including their correspondence address, educational achievements, and service preferences. Failure to do so may result in disqualification from the Interview.
Notably, candidates who have previously submitted their documents must also log in to verify their details, ensuring that they secure their e-summon letter for the Personality Test.
Preparation and Documentation
All candidates scheduled for the Personality Test should read the instructions carefully, particularly regarding the documents needed for verification. The onus is on each candidate to present sufficient proof that supports their eligibility; a lack of necessary documentation will bar them from participating in the interview. Moreover, candidates will not be able to alter the scheduled date or time of their Personality Test once it has been communicated.
Key Dates and Information
The specific date for the interviews will be communicated via e-summon letters, available for download on the UPSC’s official websites. Additionally, candidates can expect to see their scorecards on the site after the conclusion of the Personality Test, reinforcing transparency in the selection process.
For candidates seeking further clarification or information regarding the examination, the UPSC has made its call center accessible from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM. It is essential for all participating candidates to stay informed and updated, especially considering that mobile phones are strictly prohibited on the examination premises.
