First Look: Yash’s ‘Toxic’ Teaser Showcases Kiara Advani, Tara Sutaria, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, and Rukmini Vasanth

The makers of “Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups” have unveiled a new teaser, providing fans with another glimpse of the eagerly awaited period gangster drama starring Yash. This announcement follows last month’s confirmation that the film will be released in theaters on August 26, 2026. The excitement surrounding the project has been palpable, especially as it marks Yash’s return to the big screen after a four-year hiatus.

Anticipation Surrounding Yash’s Return

Since its announcement, “Toxic” has emerged as one of the most anticipated Pan-India releases. Yash, who gained immense popularity through the KGF franchise, has kept a low profile regarding this film, with the promotional material being limited. However, the newly released teaser has sparked curiosity and heightened expectations among fans.

The teaser introduces the female cast through a voiceover that delves into the theme of how “love makes women monsters.” It features brief glimpses of Kiara Advani, Tara Sutaria, Huma Qureshi, Nayanthara, and Rukmini Vasanth, each showcasing distinct looks that hint at their unique characters. Kiara, Tara, and Huma are seen in glamorous avatars, while Nayanthara and Rukmini are presented in action-oriented sequences. Notably, the teaser emphasizes the importance of these women in the narrative, positioning them as key players rather than mere supporting characters.

Details About the Film’s Production

Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups” is directed by Geetu Mohandas and produced by Venkat K. Narayana under KVN Productions, along with Yash’s own Monster Mind Creations. The film features Yash in a dual role and boasts a staggering budget estimated between Rs. 850 crore and Rs. 1,000 crore, making it one of the most expensive Indian films ever produced.

This project marks Yash’s 19th film as a lead actor. It has been shot simultaneously in Kannada and English, with plans for a wide multilingual release. Principal photography began in August 2024 and wrapped up in October 2025, with filming locations including Bengaluru, Mumbai, Goa, Thoothukudi, and Jaipur.

As the countdown to the film’s release on August 26, 2026, continues, fans are eagerly awaiting a full-fledged trailer that may provide deeper insights into Yash’s dual role and the captivating world crafted by director Geetu Mohandas.
