Join Bhopal’s Niveshak Shivir for Seamless Investor Support
The Investor Education and Protection Fund Authority (IEPFA), under the aegis of the Ministry of Corporate Affairs and the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), will host a comprehensive investor support event called the ‘Niveshak Shivir’ in Bhopal on June 5, 2026. This all-day event is scheduled from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM and offers a unique opportunity for investors to address various issues related to unclaimed dividends and shares.
The Niveshak Shivir is designed to serve as a one-stop facilitation platform where individuals can seek assistance in recovering their unclaimed dividends and shares, which may have been held for six to seven years. Participants will benefit from services such as on-the-spot KYC (Know Your Customer) updates, nomination services, and immediate resolution for any pending claims related to IEPFA.
Direct Engagement for Investors
This initiative promotes direct interaction between investors, companies, and Registrars and Transfer Agents (RTAs), bypassing any intermediaries for a smoother experience. Dedicated service kiosks will be set up at the venue to facilitate rapid grievance redressal. Moreover, companies with significant unclaimed dividend accounts will actively participate, ensuring that investor concerns are addressed swiftly and effectively.
A Nationwide Outreach Effort
The Niveshak Shivir in Bhopal is part of a larger nationwide outreach program led by IEPFA aimed at enhancing financial literacy and transparency among investors. The initiative seeks to simplify the often complex process of reclaiming unclaimed investments, empowering individuals with the knowledge and resources they need to make informed financial decisions.
The event will take place at the Vrindavan Garden located on Hoshangabad Road (NH-12), Aryan Wings Colony, Shri Rameshwaram, Bagmugaliya, Misrod, Bhopal.
