Nominations Open for Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar 2026
The Government of India has officially launched the nomination process for the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar (PMRBP) 2026, a distinguished award recognizing the extraordinary achievements of children. Once conferred by the President of India, this honor celebrates young individuals for their impactful contributions across diverse fields. The last date for submitting nominations is 31st July 2026.
Eligible candidates for the PMRBP are children aged between 5 and 18 years as of the deadline. Nominations can be submitted via the official Rashtriya Puraskar Portal, ensuring a streamlined process for applicants.
How to Submit Nominations
Nominations can be made by individuals or institutions, and children are welcome to self-nominate. Interested parties should head to https://awards.gov.in to begin the nomination process. Upon registering or logging in to the site, users should select “Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar 2026” within the Ongoing Nominations section. Following this, applicants will click on “Nominate/Apply Now,” choose their desired category, and indicate whether they are nominating themselves or another child.

The PMRBP is awarded in six categories: Bravery, Social Service, Environment, Sports, Art & Culture, and Science & Technology. Each nomination should include not only the essential details of the nominee—such as their name, date of birth, Aadhaar number, mobile number, and email—but also a write-up of up to 1,000 words detailing the nominee’s achievements and their impact.
Moreover, supporting documents and a recent photograph in jpg/jpeg/png format must be uploaded with the application. Detailed instructions can be found in the “Registration and Nomination Process for PMRBP” document available in the Notification tab on the PMRBP 2026 portal.
Application Process
Applicants can save their nominations as drafts, allowing them to edit before the final submission. Once the application is submitted, a downloadable copy will be generated for the applicant’s records. This esteemed award provides lifetime recognition, positioning young achievers on a national stage.
