The Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya National Academy of Social Security (PDUNASS), the premier training institution of the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO), has officially launched the inaugural Executive Development Programme on Labour Law and Social Security Compliance. This initiative is a collaboration with the esteemed Gujarat National Law University (GNLU) and is now accepting applications for its first cohort.

The programme was developed from discussions held during a recent virtual meeting, which brought together influential stakeholders in labour law and social security. Notable attendees included Shri Kumar Rohit, Additional CPFC (HQ) and Director of PDUNASS, as well as Prof. (Dr.) S. Shanthakumar, Director of GNLU. Other prominent figures in attendance were Dr. Nitin Malik, Registrar of GNLU, and several senior officers and members of the Advisory Board from both institutions.

Empowering Professionals in Labour Law

Designed to enhance professional skills in labour law and social security, this three-month programme addresses the rapidly changing regulatory landscape, inclusive of the recently implemented four Labour Codes and the digitisation of compliance processes. It aims to ensure that professionals stay ahead in a complex environment.

The Executive Development Programme is structured for active professionals and will utilize a blended learning format. It includes 12 weeks of online instruction followed by an intensive four-day residential module at GNLU in Gandhinagar. This structure allows participants to engage deeply and apply their learning effectively.

Comprehensive Curriculum and Certification

The curriculum encompasses critical topics such as the Labour Codes, EPFO compliance systems, digital processes like Electronic Challan-cum-Return (ECR), inspection protocols, grievance redressal mechanisms, and emerging legal practices in the field of labour law. On completion, participants will receive a joint certification from PDUNASS (EPFO) and GNLU, adding significant value to their professional profile.

Prospective applicants should note that the deadline for submissions is 15 May 2026, with the programme set to commence on 29 May 2026. This initiative presents a unique opportunity for professionals eager to advance their knowledge and skills in the arena of labour law.
