Workshop Boosts National Highway Project Execution and Coordination

The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) held a comprehensive workshop aimed at enhancing the execution of National Highway projects through improved interdepartmental collaboration. Conducted in New Delhi, the event focused on ‘Comprehensive Litigation Management in National Highways & Strengthening Inter-Departmental Coordination’ as part of the Mission Karmayogi – Sadhana Saptah initiative. This government program aims to boost governance by fostering stronger synergies among various departments.
Promoting Collaboration and Efficiency
Chaired by NHAI Chairman Shri Santosh Kumar Yadav, the workshop gathered senior officials from NHAI, the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways, and key ministries like Power and Railways. Participants engaged in structured discussions tackling critical challenges in National Highway development, including land acquisition, utility shifting, and environmental clearances. The collaborative efforts are envisioned to expedite the approval processes, diminish procedural delays, and enhance the timely delivery of infrastructure projects.
