The newly established recording studio will play a pivotal role in content development for the NIELIT Digital University (NDU) platform. NDU is anticipated to emerge as a leading platform for digital skills training and education nationwide.

Empowering Regions with Quality Skilling

During the inauguration, Shri S. Krishnan emphasized NIELIT’s crucial role in promoting access to quality education, especially in remote and underserved areas. He pointed out the significant number of NIELIT-trained professionals contributing to local governance in the North Eastern States and Union Territories, including Jammu & Kashmir. This reflects the impact of NIELIT’s training programs on local job markets and governance systems.

A Legacy of Industry-Relevant Training

Shri Krishnan also traced the origins of NIELIT to the 1980s, highlighting its focus on industry-oriented programs such as M.Tech and Diploma courses centered on design and practical skills. Over the years, NIELIT has adapted and aligned its offerings with industry needs, evolving into a comprehensive institution that serves learners at all levels.

Strengthening Collaborations in Education

Dr. M. M. Tripathi echoed the importance of the Digital Recording Studio in bolstering NIELIT’s internal capabilities for content creation and supporting large-scale skill development initiatives. The event also saw the signing of 12 Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with prominent organizations, including Chanakya University and Cyber Security Association of India (CSAI), aimed at fortifying industry-focused skilling, innovation, and capacity building in emerging technology sectors.
