The surgery was necessitated by an old injury from a snowmobile accident, which had begun to hinder his fitness goals as he prepared for future projects.

Panday revealed that he underwent the surgery shortly after *Saiyaara* hit theaters. He emphasized the severity of the procedure, stating, “It’s one of the most painful surgeries you can do, with the longest recovery time.” His doctor warned him that post-surgery, he would essentially start from scratch in terms of physical fitness, making it “nearly impossible” to achieve the desired physique for his upcoming roles.
