New RAJMARG PRAVESH Portal Streamlines Highway Access Permissions

The Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways, Shri Nitin Gadkari, has officially launched the upgraded RAJMARG PRAVESH web portal, aimed at simplifying the process of obtaining No Objection Certificates (NOCs) for fuel stations, wayside amenities, private properties, rest area complexes, and connecting roads along National Highways. This initiative reflects the government’s commitment to enhancing the ease of doing business in the country.

The improved version of the portal is designed to offer a hassle-free online application process for individuals and businesses seeking permissions related to accessing National Highways for various facilities. This includes approvals for essential services such as water pipelines, gas lines, optical fiber cables, and electrical lines, making it a comprehensive tool for both government and private entities.

Streamlined and User-Friendly Access

Accessible at rajmargpravesh.morth.gov.in, the new RAJMARG PRAVESH portal aims to provide a seamless and transparent experience for users. By allowing online applications, the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways hopes to significantly cut down on the time and effort required for obtaining necessary permissions. This modernization aligns with the government’s broader strategy to improve the business landscape in India.

Convenience for Citizens and Businesses

With this upgraded portal, citizens, businesses, and organizations can easily apply for various permissions related to highway access. The system is designed to be user-friendly, ensuring that all stakeholders can navigate the application process without complications. This initiative is expected to enhance transparency and expedite the approvals, promoting a more efficient operational environment for industries along the National Highways.
