After a month of testing, it appears to deliver a well-rounded experience, boasting decent battery life, satisfactory performance, and an appealing design, despite some minor drawbacks.
Display and Design: A Solid Offering
The Redmi 15C showcases a commendable design, particularly in its Moonlight Blue color variant. The phone features a glittery back that may not appeal to everyone, but it adds a unique touch without being overly flashy. The camera layout is clean, and the matte-finished sides resist fingerprints effectively, although the glossy back tends to attract smudges. Overall, the device feels sturdy in hand.
However, the bezels are somewhat larger than expected, and the teardrop-shaped notch can be seen as outdated in 2026, especially for a phone priced at ₹12,500. While it may fade into the background over time, it still detracts from the overall aesthetic. A punch-hole display could have aligned better with current trends.

While this aligns with industry standards, launching with the latest version would have provided better long-term support.
The software experience is marred by bloatware and ads on the lock screen, requiring users to uninstall unnecessary apps for a cleaner experience. With some effort, users can achieve a smoother interface, but it demands time and patience.

One of the standout features of the Redmi 15C is its impressive battery life. Equipped with a 6,000mAh battery, it easily lasts a full day of mixed to heavy usage. Even with activities like photography and gaming, users can expect to end the day with 35 to 40% battery remaining. With lighter usage, the phone can last up to two days.
The device supports 33W charging, and a charger is included in the box. While charging speeds are not the fastest, taking just over an hour to reach full capacity, the overall battery reliability is commendable.
