OnePlus Nord 6 Appears on Benchmarking Platform, Key Specs Uncovered

OnePlus is gearing up to launch its latest budget-friendly smartphone, the Nord 6, in India and other global markets. As anticipation builds ahead of its expected debut in the first quarter of 2026, the company has addressed rumors about scaling back its operations outside of China and India. Instead, OnePlus appears to be focusing on expanding its product lineup, with the Nord 6 set to be a key addition.

OnePlus Nord 6: Geekbench Listing Details

While OnePlus has yet to officially announce the launch date, early benchmark data has surfaced, providing insights into the device’s hardware capabilities. The OnePlus Nord 6 has been spotted on the Geekbench benchmarking platform, a sign that it has entered advanced testing phases. According to tipster Debayan Roy, known as Gadgetsdata, the listing reveals that the Nord 6 could be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, which is also featured in the recently released Nothing Phone 3.

The Geekbench results indicate that the Nord 6 achieved a single-core score of 2,019 and a multi-core score of 6,503. These scores suggest that the smartphone will deliver performance comparable to other devices utilizing the same processor. Additionally, the benchmark entry hints that the device may come equipped with at least 12GB of RAM. Furthermore, it is expected to support 80W wired charging, although OnePlus has not yet disclosed specific battery details. Reports suggest that the Nord 6 may utilize a silicon-carbon battery, with estimates placing its capacity between 7,000mAh and 9,000mAh.

OnePlus Nord 6: Other Specifications and Price in India (Expected)

In terms of display, the OnePlus Nord 6 is rumored to feature a flat OLED screen with a resolution of 1.5K and a refresh rate of 165Hz, similar to the display found on the OnePlus 15R. The device is expected to utilize LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage technology, enhancing its overall performance and user experience.

When it comes to photography, the OnePlus Nord 6 is anticipated to include a dual-camera setup on the rear, featuring a 50MP main camera alongside an 8MP ultra-wide sensor. This configuration mirrors that of its predecessor, the OnePlus Nord 5. For selfies and video calls, the smartphone is expected to sport a 32MP front-facing camera.

On the software side, the OnePlus Nord 6 is likely to run on Android 16, with OxygenOS 16 layered on top for a smooth user interface. While pricing details have not been officially confirmed, early estimates suggest that the Nord 6 could be priced below Rs. 35,000 in India, making it an attractive option for budget-conscious consumers.
