Current Gold Prices: 22K and 24K Gold Rates in Delhi, Hyderabad, and Other Cities

Gold futures surged to unprecedented levels on Monday, driven by a wave of investor interest in safe-haven assets amid escalating geopolitical tensions and renewed scrutiny of the US Federal Reserve’s policies. On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), February gold futures soared by Rs 2,431, or 1.8%, reaching a record high of Rs 1,41,250 per 10 grams. This increase reflects a broader trend, with gold prices rising by Rs 3,058, or 2.25%, over the past week, as global markets also witnessed significant gains.

Internationally, Comex gold for February delivery rose by $111.8, or 2.5%, hitting a new peak of $4,612.7 per ounce. Silver also saw a notable increase, with March delivery prices climbing by $4.56, or 5.8%, to reach a historic high of $83.90 per ounce. As investors navigate these turbulent times, the demand for gold and silver continues to grow.

Gold Prices Across Major Cities

In Delhi, the price of 22K gold was quoted at Rs 13,045 per gram, reflecting an increase of Rs 155. Meanwhile, 24K gold was priced at Rs 14,230 per gram, up by Rs 169. The rising prices in the capital mirror the overall trend seen across the country, as investors seek to secure their wealth in precious metals during uncertain times.

Ahmedabad and Chennai Gold Prices

In Ahmedabad, 22K gold was priced at Rs 13,035 per gram, also marking a rise of Rs 155. The price for 24K gold in the city reached Rs 14,220 per gram, reflecting a similar increase of Rs 169. Meanwhile, in Chennai, the rates were even higher, with 22K gold quoted at Rs 13,120 per gram, an increase of Rs 220. The price for 24K gold in Chennai was Rs 14,313 per gram, up by Rs 348, showcasing the strong demand for gold in southern India.

Gold Prices in Other Key Markets

In Mumbai, 22K gold was listed at Rs 13,030 per gram, reflecting a rise of Rs 155, while 24K gold was priced at Rs 14,215 per gram, up by Rs 169. Similarly, Hyderabad reported 22K gold at Rs 13,030 per gram, with a corresponding increase of Rs 155, and 24K gold at Rs 14,215 per gram. Other cities, including Bhubaneswar, Kolkata, Lucknow, Jaipur, Bangalore, and Patna, reported similar trends, with 22K gold prices hovering around Rs 13,030 to Rs 13,120 per gram and 24K gold prices ranging from Rs 14,215 to Rs 14,313 per gram. This widespread increase in gold prices across various cities underscores the growing investor confidence in gold as a safe investment during times of uncertainty.
