Chasing a target of 214 runs, India was bowled out for 162 in just 19.1 overs, resulting in a 51-run victory for South Africa. Quinton de Kock was the standout performer for South Africa, scoring an impressive 90 runs off 46 balls. His innings included seven sixes and five fours, showcasing his aggressive batting style. South Africa’s bowlers maintained pressure throughout the innings, with Ottneil Baartman leading the charge by taking four wickets. Lungi Ngidi, Marco Jansen, and Lutho Sipamla each contributed with two wickets, effectively dismantling India’s batting order. The Indian team’s inability to form a solid batting foundation ultimately led to their downfall, as they were bowled out well before the completion of their innings.
