Scene 1: The Thief Who Wasn’t a Thief

The episode opens with Jhanak making a serious mistake about a stranger who enters Rishi’s house. She assumes that Dritimaan is a thief who has come to steal from the family. When Dritimaan speaks to her, he quickly realizes from her way of talking that she comes from a village background and is not familiar with city customs.

Dritimaan looks around at all the decorations and asks Jhanak curiously, “Why is this house decorated so beautifully today? What special event is happening here?” Jhanak becomes more suspicious of him and responds, “You are definitely not a guest of this family because a real guest would know about the function. You must be a thief since you know nothing about what is happening here today.”

She calls for a servant and instructs him firmly, “Please bring some rope immediately so I can tie up this thief and prevent him from stealing anything from the house.”

Dritimaan realizes that Jhanak has completely misunderstood his identity, so he decides not to create more confusion. “You have caught me, so I will not try to act oversmart or argue with you,” he tells her calmly. Then he asks an innocent question, “Is today the day when Rishi is getting married?”

This question shocks Jhanak completely, and she stares at him with surprise. Dritimaan notices her silence and asks, “Why are you not saying anything? Did I say something wrong?” Jhanak explains the real reason for the celebration. “Today is the 40th wedding anniversary of Dadabhai and Indumati,” she tells him. “I am glad that I caught you before you could enter the house and cause any trouble for the family.”

She continues questioning his skills as a supposed thief. “Are you new to this work of stealing?” she asks. “Because any experienced thief would know not to come through the front door of a house in broad daylight.” The servant arrives with the rope as requested, and Dritimaan tells Jhanak, “I am ready for whatever you want to do.” Without hesitation, Jhanak uses the rope to tie Dritimaan up securely so he cannot escape.

Scene 2: Missing Guests and Beautiful Singing

Meanwhile, in another part of the house, Aditi asks Aniruddh about someone’s absence from the celebration. “Why did you not bring Anjana with you today?” she inquires. “Also, Anjana is not answering any of my phone calls, which is very unusual for her.”

Aniruddh provides an explanation for Anjana’s absence. “Anjana is not feeling well today,” he tells Aditi. “That is why she could not come to the anniversary celebration.” Bablu supports Aniruddh’s explanation and adds, “Anjana is taking rest at home so she can recover from her illness.”

Aditi becomes concerned about not knowing this information earlier. “Why did nobody tell me about Anjana being sick before now?” she asks. “I would have liked to know so I could check on her or help in some way.” Bablu tries to reassure her by saying, “We thought that Anjana would feel better quickly and be able to attend the function, so we did not want to worry you unnecessarily.”

Back outside, Jhanak takes a wooden stick from the servant to use as protection against the supposed thief. “Please go inside and bring Rishi here immediately,” she instructs the servant. “He needs to see what kind of person tried to enter his house today.” While they wait, Dritimaan hears the beautiful music playing inside the house during the anniversary celebration. He tells Jhanak with confidence, “I have a very good singing voice and can sing beautifully.”

Without any warning, Dritimaan begins singing the melodious ‘Mitwaa’ song with perfect rhythm and tone. His voice is so beautiful and skilled that Jhanak becomes completely shocked by his talent. Despite thinking he is a thief, she finds herself enjoying his singing and getting lost in the music.

When the servant reaches Rishi and tells him about the thief situation, Rishi responds with disbelief. “How is that possible?” he asks. “Who would try to steal from our house during a family celebration?” Curious about this strange news, Rishi and other family members decide to go outside and see what is happening.

Jhanak asks Dritimaan a logical question after hearing his beautiful singing. “If you have such amazing singing talent, why did you choose to become a thief instead of pursuing a career in music?” Dritimaan responds with a playful attitude. “I find it fun and exciting to steal things from people,” he tells her, though his tone suggests he might be joking about this answer.

Scene 3: The Shocking Family Reunion

When Rishi and the other family members come outside, something completely unexpected happens. Rishi looks at the tied-up man and calls him by name, “Dritimaan!” This shocking revelation leaves both Jhanak and Aditi stunned and confused.

Dritimaan smiles warmly at his family members when he sees them gathered around him. All the family members become very emotional upon seeing Dritimaan after such a long time. Their joy and surprise is obvious as they realize their beloved family member has finally returned home.

Tanushri speaks up with satisfaction and says, “I always told everyone that Dritimaan would return to us one day. I never stopped believing that he would come back to his family.” Rishi immediately begins untying the ropes that Jhanak used to bind Dritimaan. “Who did this to you?” he asks with concern about his family member being tied up like a criminal.

Jhanak admits her mistake and replies, “I was the one who tied him up because I thought he was a thief trying to rob your house.” Rishi scolds Jhanak for her error in judgment. “You are a fool for making such a terrible mistake,” he tells her. “How could you not recognize that this is my family member?” Then Rishi embraces Dritimaan with great happiness and relief.

Aditi looks at Jhanak with confusion and asks, “What exactly is happening here? Can someone explain this whole situation to me?”

Neelu approaches Dritimaan with tears in her eyes and asks, “Where have you been all this time? I cannot believe that I am actually seeing you again after so long.” Her emotions overcome her, and she begins to cry with joy. Abhimanyu questions Dritimaan about his long absence. “Why did you leave us without telling anyone where you were going?” he asks. “We were all very worried about you and did not know if you were safe.”

Dritimaan shows respect to his father by taking his blessings in the traditional way. Dadabhai hugs Dritimaan tightly and says with emotion, “You have finally remembered your family and decided to come back home to us.”

Indumati also embraces Dritimaan and cries with happiness at seeing her family member safe and healthy. Surjeet becomes curious about Dritimaan’s life during his absence and asks, “Do you have a wife and children now? What has happened in your life while you were away from us?”

Scene 4: Sanjhbati’s Arrival and Parashar’s Escape

Just then, Sanjhbati arrives at the scene and becomes completely shocked when she sees Dritimaan standing there with his family. Dritimaan stares at Sanjhbati when he notices her presence, and there seems to be some important history between them.

Sanjhbati tries to leave the situation gracefully and says, “I should go away from here because your family is reuniting after such a long time. I do not want to interfere in this special moment.” However, Rishi stops her from leaving and tells her, “You should not go anywhere because you are also part of our family. You belong here with all of us.”

Jhanak also supports this sentiment and tells Sanjhbati, “Rishi is right – you are definitely a family member and should stay for this celebration.” But Sanjhbati insists, “I really need to leave now and give you all privacy for your family reunion.”

Dritimaan speaks up firmly and tells her, “You cannot go anywhere until you listen to what I have to say to you. We need to talk about important matters.” Aniruddh questions Dritimaan about his past decisions. “If you wanted to marry someone else, why did you not tell your parents about it honestly instead of just disappearing?”

Rishi interrupts and tells Aniruddh, “You should not get involved in private family matters that do not concern you.” Dritimaan addresses Sanjhbati directly and makes her a promise. “I will tell you everything that you need to know about what happened and why I left,” he says. “After I explain everything, you can decide if you want to leave me or stay with me.” He takes her hand and leads her inside the house for a private conversation.

Meanwhile, in Simulboni, Kanka advises Parashar about his health. “You should either go to see Jhanak or visit a doctor for your fever,” she tells him with concern. Parashar dismisses her worry and replies, “This is just a normal fever that will go away in a few days. I do not need special treatment for such a minor illness.”

Kanka becomes frustrated with his stubbornness. “Why are you not listening to my advice?” she asks. “You only used to listen to Nutan in the past, but now you should listen to me.” Dhamu brings Lochan to see Parashar. Lochan expresses his gratitude by saying, “Thank you for helping my father in the past when he needed assistance.” Parashar asks about Lochan’s grandfather with interest. Lochan provides sad news and replies, “My grandfather passed away last year.”

At the police station, a police inspector reports to his senior officer about the ongoing search. “I have not been able to find Parashar yet despite all our efforts.” The senior officer becomes angry and scolds the inspector. “Why have you not caught Parashar by now? This is taking too much time.” He then receives a phone call from Lochan and asks if Lochan has met Parashar recently. Lochan tells the officer everything he knows about Parashar’s location.

When Lochan goes to Parashar and apologizes for revealing information, Kanka immediately warns Parashar to escape. “You must run away from here right now before the police arrive,” she tells him urgently. Dhamu assures Parashar, “I will handle everything here and make sure the police do not find any trace of you.” Following their advice, Parashar quickly runs away from the area.

When a police inspector arrives and asks about Parashar’s whereabouts, Dhamu lies to protect his friend. “Parashar is not here,” he tells the officer confidently. Later, Ayush calls Jhanak to check on her situation. “Why did you not come to college today?” he asks with concern. “I heard some disturbing things about what students are saying about you.” Jhanak responds, “I know that many students do not like me, so I am not surprised by their negative talk.”

Ayush becomes more specific about his concerns. “Are you staying in Rishi’s house right now? Do you feel safe and protected there?” Jhanak reassures him by saying, “Yes, I am safe here and do not feel threatened by anyone.” Ayush explains why he called her. “I was worried about your safety and wanted to make sure you were okay.” This makes Jhanak curious, and she asks, “Why were you worried about me specifically?”

Rishi happens to be nearby and overhears this conversation. Ayush warns Jhanak about specific threats she faces. “Some students are plotting against you, especially Mishti and her friends.” Rishi misunderstands the conversation and thinks that Ayush is trying to turn Jhanak against him and his family. Feeling upset by this misunderstanding, he leaves the area. Ayush provides more details about the threats. “Mishti is working with her friends to create problems for you at college.”

Dev interrupts their phone conversation by asking Ayush, “What are you doing here when college time is already over?” He takes the phone from Ayush and tells Jhanak, “You can talk to Ayush later when it is more appropriate.” Before ending the call, Ayush tells Jhanak, “Please take care of yourself and stay safe.” Dev suspects that Ayush has romantic feelings for Jhanak and thinks to himself about this situation. After Ayush goes to the hostel, Dev considers his position and calls Mishti to discuss their plans. Jhanak remembers Ayush’s warning about Mishti and thinks about what problems might be coming her way.

The Episode Ends Here

Precap: Aditi makes a suggestion to Rishi about organizing another celebration. “We should start preparing for Dritimaan and Sanjhbati’s marriage ceremony,” she tells him. This suggestion makes Rishi think about his own feelings and realize that he loves Jhanak in the same deep way that Dritimaan loves Sanjhbati. Meanwhile, Aditi has her own secret thoughts and considers the plan she has been developing against Jhanak.
