Jhanak Written Update 2nd December 2025: Rishi’s Confusion and The Yellow Saree Ceremony

Scene 1: Morning Preparations and Gift Giving
The episode starts with Rishi sitting quietly in his room, thinking deeply about his confused feelings. He cannot understand why he feels so unsure about everything that is happening in his life right now. While he sits lost in his thoughts, Aditi enters the room and begins combing his hair gently, taking care of him like a loving wife should.
Just then, Jhanak walks into the room and sees Aditi taking care of Rishi so lovingly. The scene makes Jhanak feel very uncomfortable, and she stands there not knowing what to do or say. Aditi quickly notices that Jhanak has arrived and thinks to herself that this situation could become quite interesting. “Wait for just two minutes,” Aditi tells Jhanak politely. She then turns back to Rishi and explains, “Today is a very important function for our family, so I want to help you get ready properly and make sure you look perfect.”
Jhanak watches this exchange and thinks to herself how much Aditi truly cares about Rishi and wants to make him happy. At the same time, she feels troubled because she knows that Rishi is being dishonest with his wife and betraying her trust. Aditi then brings out a beautiful yellow saree and presents it to Jhanak with a smile. “I bought this specially for you,” she tells Jhanak warmly. “Everyone in the family will be wearing yellow outfits today for the ceremony.”
Jhanak looks at the expensive saree and shakes her head. “This is too costly and valuable,” she says. “I cannot accept such an expensive gift from you.” But Rishi immediately speaks up and encourages Jhanak to take the saree. “You should accept it,” he tells her firmly. After hearing this from Rishi, Jhanak finally agrees to take the beautiful yellow saree.
Aditi then shows Jhanak a collection of sparkling jewelry and suggests, “You can wear these jewels if they match well with your outfit today.” But Jhanak politely refuses this offer. “I am not used to wearing such expensive jewelry,” she explains. “It would not feel comfortable for me.”
Rishi thinks to himself as he watches this scene, “How can I possibly hurt Aditi when she is being so kind and generous to Jhanak?” Meanwhile, Aditi believes that what she is doing is necessary for some reason. Jhanak thinks that Rishi is acting like a hypocrite, while Rishi tells himself that he only wants Jhanak to be happy and nothing else matters. Jhanak also remembers how wrong it was when Rishi brought special food for her yesterday.
Scene 2: Phone Conversations and Secret Plans
Later in the day, Jhanak gets ready for the ceremony and calls Parashar on the phone to update him about her current situation. “I am staying in Rishi’s house now,” she informs him honestly. “I did not have any other choice or option available to me.” She explains her reasoning to Parashar, saying, “I am desperate to continue my education and complete my studies. That is why I decided to accept Aditi’s help and stay here with them.”
Parashar asks her directly, “Are you feeling happy and comfortable living there with them?” Jhanak remembers the scene she witnessed earlier when she saw Aditi lovingly helping Rishi get ready for the day. Parashar becomes concerned and asks, “Are Rishi and Aditi treating you badly or misbehaving with you in any way?” Jhanak quickly reassures him, “No, they are both very good people and they treat me well.” Parashar advises her to stay alert and careful, then disconnects their phone call.
At the same time, Aditi makes her own phone call to Arshi to discuss recent developments. “I need to tell you that Rishi prepared special food for Jhanak,” she reveals to Arshi. “Maybe I should not have listened to you and Aniruddh’s advice about this situation.”
Arshi responds by reminding Aditi, “I told you before that Rishi is not a good person, but you did not listen to me at that time. That is exactly why all these problems are happening now.” Aditi admits her mistake, saying, “Marrying Rishi was completely my own decision. I accept that I was wrong when I did not listen to your warnings back then.” She clarifies to Arshi, “I am just sharing my frustration with you right now. I am not trying to blame you for anything.”
Arshi gives Aditi some strategic advice, “You can control this whole situation now if you are smart about it. One day you will be able to throw Jhanak out of your house after you catch Rishi and Jhanak together in a compromising situation.”
Aniruddh joins their conversation and tells Aditi, “You should keep watching Jhanak all the time. Make sure you control her actions and know what she is doing.” Arshi adds, “Keep giving us regular updates about everything that happens.” Aditi agrees to follow their plan and tells them, “Get ready quickly and come to our house soon.” She then ends their phone call.
Scene 3: The Haldi Ceremony and Dancing
After some time passes, Dadabhai’s haldi ceremony officially begins with the whole family gathering together. Abhimanyu looks around and notices something strange. “Why is everyone being so quiet and silent today?” he asks the family members. Rishi decides to make the atmosphere more lively and starts playing cheerful music. Soon he begins dancing energetically with all the men in the family, creating a festive mood for the celebration.
Arshi observes Jhanak carefully and whispers to Aditi, “Look how Jhanak keeps staring at Rishi while he dances.” Aditi notices this too and approaches Jhanak, saying, “You should join us and dance as well.” But Arshi objects to this suggestion, asking, “Why should Jhanak dance when she is not actually part of our family?” Putul disagrerees with Arshi and says, “Jhanak is not an outsider to us.” However, Neelu supports Arshi’s point of view and agrees that Jhanak should not participate.
Aditi questions Arshi, “Why are you talking about Jhanak in such a negative way? She is like a sister to me.” Arshi responds, “You are defending Jhanak too much these days.” Despite the disagreement, Aditi continues to encourage Jhanak to dance, but Jhanak refuses to participate.
Putul also tries to convince Jhanak to join the dancing. Mishti gives Jhanak a different task, saying, “You should take care of your friends because you know them better than anyone else.” Jhanak agrees to help with this responsibility instead of dancing.
Meanwhile, at Parashar’s hiding place, Kanka informs him about some troubling news. “A police officer has arrived here and is asking questions,” she tells him urgently. Parashar quickly lies down on the bed and pretends to be sick. When Kanka opens the door, the police officer asks her about Parashar’s whereabouts. Kanka lies to protect him, saying, “This is my house, not Parashar’s house at all.” The officer asks who is sleeping in the bed, and Kanka replies, “That is just my relative who is visiting.”
Parashar starts coughing loudly and acts like he is very ill. The police officer becomes suspicious and orders, “Remove that blanket so I can see his face.” Parashar removes the blanket as instructed. The officer compares Parashar’s face to a sketch he is carrying, but he fails to recognize that this sick man is the person he is searching for. “I will find Parashar no matter what it takes,” the officer declares before leaving the house. After he goes away, Dhamu arrives and worries, “What will happen now? The police will not stop searching until they catch Parashar.”
Parashar wonders aloud, “How did the police get information about me and my location?” Kanka explains, “You called Jhanak from your phone, and that is how they tracked you down.” Parashar realizes, “There is a possibility that someone has been spying on me and watching my activities.” Kanka reminds him, “I still belong to you and support you. Will you not say anything to acknowledge this?”
Scene 4: Women’s Ceremony and Unexpected Visitor
Back at the celebration, Abhimanyu announces that he is completely exhausted. “I am really tired and cannot dance anymore today,” he says. But Surjeet shows enthusiasm and declares, “I am ready for a second round of dancing.” Abhimanyu suggests, “You should make Dadabhai dance instead of me.”
Dadabhai wants to finish the ceremony quickly and tells everyone, “Please complete this ritual as soon as possible so we can move on.” Following tradition, each family member takes turns applying haldi paste on Dadabhai’s face and arms, giving him their blessings for his upcoming marriage.
When Dadabhai’s ceremony ends, it becomes time for Indumati’s haldi ceremony to begin. Neelu announces excitedly, “Now it is our turn to dance and celebrate.” Aditi takes Jhanak’s hand and pulls her toward the center of the dancing area. This time, Jhanak does not refuse and begins dancing beautifully to the music. Her graceful movements and natural rhythm impress everyone who watches her performance. All the family members clap enthusiastically for Jhanak’s wonderful dancing skills. Aditi praises Jhanak publicly, complimenting her talent and encouraging her to continue.
Suddenly, an unexpected situation develops when an unknown man enters Rishi’s house without invitation or announcement. Jhanak notices this stranger immediately and approaches him with caution. “You need to introduce yourself,” she tells him firmly. “Who are you and what do you want here?” The man looks at Jhanak suspiciously and asks her, “Who are you to question me?” Jhanak stands her ground and responds, “If you want to enter this house, you should introduce yourself first and explain your purpose.” The stranger asks, “Are you suspecting me of something wrong?”
Jhanak becomes more alert and asks, “Are you alone, or did someone else come with you?” When the man cannot give satisfactory answers, Jhanak picks up a wooden stick and threatens him with it, ready to defend herself and the house if necessary.

Precap: Jhanak takes action against the mysterious intruder and ties him up to prevent him from causing any trouble. Meanwhile, Rishi’s family becomes very emotional when they see Ridhiman arriving at their house, suggesting that his presence brings up strong feelings and memories for everyone involved.
