Friends of IBC Meet Held in Thimphu
As part of the ongoing Exposition of the holy relics of Lord Buddha and the Global Peace Prayer Festival (GPPF) in Bhutan, the International Buddhist Confederation (IBC) has organized three thematic exhibitions at the Grand Kuenrey of Tashichhodzong in Thimphu. These exhibitions aim to enhance the spiritual experience for devotees and visitors alike. Notable attendees included His Majesty King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck and Dr. Virendra Kumar, the Union Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment from India, highlighting the cultural ties between India and Bhutan.
