Ferrari Amalfi Launches Featuring Twin-Turbo V8 Powertrain, Achieving 320 KMPH

Ferrari has officially unveiled its latest two-door coupe, the Ferrari Amalfi, which promises to blend high performance with everyday usability. This new model, which replaces the Roma in Ferrari’s lineup, is built on the Grand Tourer concept and features advanced technology, including a Human-Machine Interface (HMI) system. The Amalfi is powered by a robust twin-turbo V8 engine, delivering an impressive 640 horsepower, and is paired with an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, making it a formidable contender in the luxury sports car market.

Price and Availability

The Ferrari Amalfi is priced starting at EUR 240,000, which is approximately Rs. 2.42 crore. Initially, the coupe will be available in a striking Verde Costiera exterior color, complemented by a Verde Bellagio interior. Pre-orders for the Amalfi have already begun at authorized Ferrari dealerships, with deliveries expected to start in the first quarter of 2026. Customers in the United States can anticipate availability a few months later, likely within a three to six-month window following the initial launch.

Advanced Features

Ferrari has equipped the Amalfi with a next-generation Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) suite, which can be configured through the vehicle’s instrument cluster. This system integrates seamlessly with the car’s electronic components, including radar, cameras, and control units. Key features of the ADAS include Adaptive Cruise Control, Automatic Emergency Braking, Blind Spot Detection, Lane Departure Warning, and Lane Keeping Assist. For enhanced safety, optional features such as Surround View and Rear Cross Traffic Alert are also available.

The updated HMI system in the Amalfi is designed around three main screens. The 15.6-inch digital instrument cluster provides essential driving information, while a central 10.25-inch capacitive touchscreen offers access to multimedia controls, climate settings, and more. Additionally, a co-driver screen measures 8.8 inches and displays various performance metrics. The infotainment system supports both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and the MyFerrari Connect app allows for remote monitoring of the vehicle’s status. Wireless charging is also integrated into the central tunnel for added convenience.

Powertrain and Vehicle Dynamics

At the heart of the Ferrari Amalfi is a twin-turbo V8 engine from the renowned Ferrari F154 engine family, producing a maximum output of 640 horsepower at 7,500 rpm. The engine’s redline has been increased to 7,600 rpm, ensuring a smooth and powerful driving experience. This powerhouse is paired with an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission derived from the SF90 Stradale, featuring enhanced control and integration with the engine’s software.

Ferrari claims that the Amalfi can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds and reach 200 km/h in 9 seconds. The car boasts a power-to-weight ratio of 2.29 kg per horsepower and a top speed of 320 km/h. With dimensions of 4,660 x 1,974 x 1,301 mm and a wheelbase of 2,670 mm, the Amalfi has a dry weight of 1,470 kg. The vehicle’s braking system has been upgraded with brake-by-wire technology, improving efficiency and modulation. Additionally, the active rear spoiler adjusts based on acceleration and braking, enhancing stability and aerodynamic performance.

Interior Design and Comfort

The interior of the Ferrari Amalfi features a dual-cockpit layout, designed to create a visually connected space for both the driver and co-driver. The “2+” design includes two small rear seats, providing additional versatility. Ferrari has prioritized premium materials and advanced technology throughout the cabin.

The dashboard showcases a monolithic design, integrating the instrument cluster and air vents into a cohesive unit. The central tunnel houses essential controls, including the gear selector, key slot, and a wireless charging pad. Buyers can opt for comfort seats available in three sizes, equipped with ten air chambers that offer a massage function with five programs and three intensity levels. An optional Burmester Premium Audio System, featuring 14 speakers and a total power output of 1,200 watts, is also available for an enhanced auditory experience.
