Xbox Game Pass Unveils July Lineup: Featuring Tony

Xbox Game Pass is set to enhance its offerings this July with the addition of several exciting titles, including the highly anticipated Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4, which will launch on day one. Alongside this classic skateboarding remake, players can look forward to other popular games such as Little Nightmares 2, Rise of the Tomb Raider, and the cyberpunk shooter The Ascent. With a variety of new games, downloadable content, and subscription benefits on the horizon, Xbox Game Pass continues to expand its appeal to gamers.

Exciting New Titles Coming to Game Pass

Microsoft has unveiled the first wave of games arriving on Xbox Game Pass for July, as detailed in a recent Xbox Wire announcement. The standout title for the month is Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4, which will be available on July 11. This remake combines the beloved Pro Skater 3 and Pro Skater 4 into one package, similar to the earlier release of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2. The new version promises to deliver an immersive experience with all the original parks and skaters, enhanced by a visual upgrade featuring 4K resolution, improved textures, and better lighting and animations.

In addition to being available on Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 will also launch on Nintendo Switch, PS4, and PS5, making it accessible to a wide range of players. The excitement surrounding this release highlights the ongoing popularity of the Tony Hawk franchise and its ability to attract both new and returning fans.

Already Available Games and Upcoming Additions

As of now, two titles have already been added to Xbox Game Pass this month: Little Nightmares 2 and Rise of the Tomb Raider. Both games are accessible across Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Game Pass Standard tiers on cloud, console, and PC platforms. Additionally, on July 2, two games from the Mana seriesโ€”Legend of Mana and Trials of Manaโ€”joined Game Pass Standard on Xbox consoles. The multiplayer party platformer Ultimate Chicken Horse will also be available starting July 3.

Looking ahead, The Ascent, a visually striking cyberpunk shooter, will return to Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass on July 8. Players can enjoy this game solo or in co-op mode. Following that, on July 9, management simulation game Minami Lane will be added to Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass, further diversifying the lineup for subscribers.

Upcoming Releases and DLC Content

Later in July, players can anticipate the arrival of High on Life, a humorous first-person shooter developed by Justin Roiland, the creator of the popular animated series Rick and Morty. This game is set to launch on July 15 and promises to deliver a unique comedic experience. In addition to new game releases, Xbox Game Pass subscribers will also receive downloadable content for Diablo IV and Palworld this month, along with in-game benefits for titles like Mecha Break, Splitgate 2, and Asphalt Legends Unite.

Microsoft has also reported that its Retro Classics collection, introduced last month, has surpassed one million players. The collection includes classic games such as Cosmic Commuter, Heart of China, Skiing, Solar Storm, and Subterranea, appealing to nostalgic gamers and newcomers alike.

Games Leaving Game Pass

As the month progresses, Microsoft has announced a list of games that will be leaving Game Pass on July 15. This includes titles such as Flock, Mafia Definitive Edition, Magical Delicacy, Tchia, The Callisto Protocol, and The Case of the Golden Idol. Subscribers are encouraged to explore these games before they depart the service, ensuring they make the most of their Game Pass experience. With a dynamic lineup of new and departing titles, Xbox Game Pass continues to be a compelling option for gamers looking for variety and value.
