Equipped with 40mm dynamic drivers, these headphones support up to 42dB of active noise cancellation, along with a transparency mode for users who want to stay aware of their surroundings. The audio experience is enhanced by the tuning expertise of KEF engineers, ensuring high-quality sound reproduction.

For connectivity, the headphones utilize Bluetooth 5.3 and support various audio codecs, including AAC, SBC, and LDAC. They also allow dual-device connectivity, making it easy to switch between devices. The Nothing Headphone 1 is compatible with Android devices running version 5.1 and iOS devices with version 13 or higher. Instead of touch controls, the headphones feature tactile buttons, including a Roller, Paddle, and a Button, which facilitate volume adjustments, media changes, and ANC mode switching.

Additionally, the headphones include a 3.5mm audio jack for wired listening. The battery life is particularly noteworthy, with claims of up to 80 hours of playback when using the AAC codec without ANC. When playing LDAC audio without ANC, the battery life is said to last up to 54 hours. With ANC activated, users can expect around 35 hours of playback with AAC audio and 30 hours with LDAC.
