India Sends First Shipment of Rose-Scented Litchi from Pathankot to Qatar
In a landmark achievement for India’s horticultural sector, the Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) has successfully facilitated the export of rose-scented litchis from Pathankot, Punjab, to international markets. On June 23, 2025, the first consignment of one metric tonne was dispatched to Doha, Qatar, while an additional 0.5 metric tonne was sent to Dubai, UAE.
