Essential Stock Recommendations for June 27: Top Companies to Consider Today

According to Bajaj Broking Research, Tata Steel and Lloyds Engineering Works have emerged as the top stock recommendations for investors today. The report highlights the resilience of the Nifty index, which has maintained its upward trend despite global economic challenges. With a significant breakout above previous resistance levels, the Nifty is projected to reach new heights in the coming weeks, while the Bank Nifty has also shown strong bullish momentum, recently hitting an all-time high.

Nifty Index Performance

The Nifty index has demonstrated impressive resilience in recent weeks, continuing its upward trajectory amid a challenging macroeconomic landscape. Despite escalating geopolitical tensions and rising crude oil prices, which typically exert pressure on the Indian economy, the index has maintained investor confidence. The Nifty recently broke above its six-week trading range of 24,500 to 25,200, closing above 25,500 for the first time in over eight months. This breakout not only reinforces the bullish momentum but also confirms a well-established uptrend characterized by higher highs and higher lows.

Market analysts have revised their near-term target for the Nifty to the 25,700โ€“25,900 range, aligning with the measured move objective from the recent consolidation. The positive market breadth, with broad-based participation across various sectors, adds further conviction to this rally. The immediate support for the Nifty has been adjusted to the 24,800โ€“25,000 zone, which is expected to act as a critical demand area. Sustained trading above this support level will likely bolster the bullish sentiment and pave the way for further gains.

Bank Nifty’s Strong Uptrend

The Bank Nifty index has also exhibited a robust uptrend, recently achieving a new all-time high. This surge is attributed to improved global risk sentiment, particularly following reports of a ceasefire between Israel and Iran. The index has consistently remained above its 20-day Exponential Moving Average (EMA) since April, indicating persistent upward momentum. The structural formation of higher highs and higher lows reflects a solid uptrend, supported by healthy market breadth and participation from key banking stocks.

Following a breakout from the consolidation zone of 56,000 to 53,500, analysts project an upside potential for the Bank Nifty towards the 58,500 mark in the coming weeks. The recalibrated support base is now set at 55,000โ€“55,500, coinciding with the 50-day EMA and recent swing lows. This area is expected to serve as a strong accumulation zone, where any pullbacks could present buying opportunities within the broader uptrend.

Stock Recommendations: Tata Steel and Lloyds Engineering Works

Bajaj Broking Research has identified Tata Steel as a key stock to watch, recommending a buy in the range of Rs 157-161. The stock has recently broken out of a falling channel, signaling a resumption of its upward movement. Analysts expect Tata Steel to reach a target of Rs 176 in the coming months, representing an 11% potential return. The stock’s rebound after forming a base around the 50-day EMA indicates a positive bias, further validated by a buy signal from the daily RSI.

Similarly, Lloyds Engineering Works is recommended for purchase in the range of Rs 62.20-64.50. The stock has generated a breakout above a bullish cup and handle formation and is sustaining above both short- and medium-term moving averages. Analysts anticipate that Lloyds Engineering Works will reach a target of Rs 72, offering a potential return of 14% over the next three months. The positive bias is supported by strong trading volume and a favorable RSI signal, indicating continued upward momentum.
