Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA) Launches Three-Day Corporate Social Responsibility Program

The Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA) has launched a three-day Capacity Building Programme focused on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) for officials from Munitions India Limited (MIL) at the National Academy of Defence Production (NADP) in Nagpur. A significant moment during the event was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between IICA and NADP, aimed at enhancing CSR practices within Defence Public Sector Undertakings (DSPUs). This initiative reflects a commitment to fostering excellence in CSR, guided by the leadership of IICA’s Director General & CEO, Shri Gyaneshwar Kumar Singh.
Signing of the MoU
The MoU was officially signed on June 9, 2025, just prior to the inaugural session of the programme. Dr. Garima Dadhich, Associate Professor and Head of the School of Business Environment at IICA, and Dr. J. P. Dash, Chief General Manager of NADP, represented their respective organizations in this important agreement. The MoU underscores a mutual dedication to advancing capacity-building efforts and promoting effective CSR practices across DSPUs. This collaboration is expected to enhance the institutional framework for CSR, ensuring that it aligns with both corporate objectives and national development goals.
Inaugural Session Highlights
