On the last day of shooting in Banaras, Rai expressed his frustration over the missing climax, prompting a heated exchange with Sharma. Rai humorously recalled waking Sharma at 6:00 AM, insisting that he needed the final lines to complete the scene.
As the clock ticked down, Sharma arrived at the shooting location with a rough draft of the scene. Rai, who was already filming with Naman Jain, listened intently to Sharma’s narration. Despite feeling upset with his co-writer, Rai recognized the brilliance of Sharma’s lines and praised him, albeit reluctantly. This last-minute collaboration ultimately shaped the film’s emotional climax, showcasing the creative process behind its memorable moments.
Dhanush’s Quick Involvement
After receiving the final lines, Aanand L Rai quickly reached out to Dhanush, asking him to return for a brief shoot after lunch. Dhanush agreed, eager to contribute to the film’s conclusion. Rai explained that the scene required just one shot from the actor, emphasizing the urgency of the situation. This collaborative effort between the director and the cast highlights the dynamic nature of filmmaking, where creativity often flourishes under pressure.
