Xiaomi SU7 Ultra Launches in Gran Turismo 7 for PlayStation

Xiaomi has announced an exciting collaboration with Japanese video game studio Polyphony Digital to feature its high-performance luxury electric vehicle, the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra, in the popular racing simulator Gran Turismo 7. This partnership was unveiled during the Gran Turismo World Series 2025 event, marking a significant milestone as the SU7 Ultra becomes the first vehicle from Xiaomi’s automotive division to be included in the franchise. The integration promises to deliver an authentic driving experience for players on both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 platforms.

The Xiaomi SU7 Ultra will be incorporated into Gran Turismo 7 through a collaborative development process with Polyphony Digital. This partnership aims to faithfully replicate the vehicle’s driving dynamics and luxurious design within the game. The collaboration follows a recent visit by Kazunori Yamauchi, the creator of Gran Turismo, to Xiaomi’s factory, where he met with Lei Jun, the founder and CEO of Xiaomi Group. During this visit, they toured the electric vehicle production facility and had the opportunity to test-drive the SU7 Ultra.

Players can expect to see the SU7 Ultra introduced in an upcoming update for Gran Turismo 7. This marks a notable entry for Xiaomi into the gaming world, showcasing its commitment to blending automotive innovation with digital entertainment. Lei Jun expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration, stating, โ€œThe Gran Turismo series is world famous for providing the highest level of quality and experiences, so I am very happy that the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra will be featured in Gran Turismo.โ€ Additionally, Xiaomi and Polyphony Digital plan to develop a concept vehicle named Vision Gran Turismo, which will also be featured in the racing simulator.

About Xiaomi SU7 Ultra

The Xiaomi SU7 Ultra was first unveiled in 2024 as a performance-oriented prototype of the standard SU7 electric vehicle. It officially became available for purchase on March 2, 2025, during the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, with a starting price of CNY 5,29,900, approximately Rs. 64 lakh. The vehicle is equipped with three in-house developed HyperEngine electric motors, producing a remarkable maximum output of 1,548 horsepower and peak torque of 635 Nm.

This impressive performance allows the SU7 Ultra to accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in just 1.98 seconds, with a 0-200 km/h time of 5.86 seconds. The vehicle boasts a top speed of 350 km/h, powered by a Qilin 2.0 battery pack sourced from CATL. This battery is integrated into the vehicle’s body using cell-to-body (CTB) technology and has a capacity of 150 kWh, delivering a maximum discharge power of 1,330 kW. Xiaomi claims that the SU7 Ultra offers a maximum CLTC range of 630 kilometers and can be fully charged in under 12 minutes with a 5.2C charging multiplier.
