Tanya sits stiffly on a wooden stool, clutching her phone. Her voice trembles as she whispers to Bua Maa, “Sonalika called me. I didn’t answer. What if she finds out about Shivansh?” Bua Maa’s face tightens. She snaps, “You’ve already said too much. Don’t invite trouble,” while adjusting a silver bangle on her wrist. Tanya bites her lip, nodding silently. Across town, Raunak kicks a stone into a puddle. He growls at Kanti, “I’m taking Prarthna back. Inside, Shivansh’s phone rings. Gayatri’s voice crackles, “Prarthna, is that you?” Shivansh replies, “She’s busy. I’ll tell her.” Later, Prarthna calls back. Gayatri whispers, “Neha and Naresh act strange. They’re hiding something.” Prarthna stiffens. “What kind of strange?” Gayatri hangs up. “I’ll find out myself.”
Scene 4: The Mask of Deception
Bua Maa circles Shivansh like a hawk. “When will you dump Prarthna?” Shivansh polishes a dagger on the table. “Soon. But first, we must prove our marriage is real.” Bua Maa narrows her eyes. “Why?” Shivansh stands, his shadow looming. “Because the family’s neck-deep in a mess. If they think we’re in love, they’ll never suspect the truth.” He tucks the dagger into his boot. “Trust me.” Outside, Raunak lurks by the gate, nursing a bruised arm. Smita’s words echo: “Your life was better before Prarthna.” He shakes his head, dialing a number. “I’ll fix this,” he mutters. “Even if I burn Shivansh’s world down.”
