Scene 1: Stars, Money, and a Child’s Curiosity
Ridhi grips her phone, listening to the counsellor. “Your foreign admission is confirmed, but the deposit is pending,” the voice says. “I’ll sort it soon,” Ridhi replies. She glances at her laptop, calculating the cost of tuition and flights. “If only Dad’s insurance had covered this…” she mutters. Sai pops into view, snatching the phone. “How do I go to the stars to meet my dad?” she blurts. The counsellor stammers, “Only astronauts fly there. They use rockets from Sriharikota.” Sai tilts her head. “How do I get to Sriharikota?” The counsellor chuckles. “By plane.” Ridhi yanks the phone back. “That was my brother’s daughter,” she mumbles. The counsellor sighs. “She wants to chase stars for her dad.” Ridhi ends the call, unaware Sai’s tiny voice has already mapped a plan. Later, Ridhi texts her brother: Sai asked about Sriharikota. She’s fixated on meeting Rajat. He replies instantly: Stop her. She’s too young to understand.
Scene 2: Fire, Lies, and a Hidden Truth
Savi bursts into a crumbling shed, finding Neil coughing in smoke. “Why are you here?” she snaps. Neil glares. “Proof Teju died here—not in that bus.” He kicks a charred beam. “Someone torched this place.” Savi grabs his arm. “You’ll die chasing ghosts! Leave!” Neil shoves her off. “The truth’s worth dying for.” Tara’s husband pleads, “Stop this madness!” Tara ignores him, barking orders to staff. “Savi’s about to take over—act now or lose everything!” Back at the shed, Neil bends down, picking up a melted ID tag. “Teju’s necklace… still intact.” Savi peers over. “Who burns a building with evidence inside?” Neil mutters, “Someone afraid the world will know Rajat’s killer.” Later, Savi reports to Nithin Majnekar. “The shed’s burned. Neil was attacked there.” Nithin roars, “Stay out of this! You’re reassigned!” Savi storms out, fists clenched.
Scene 3: A Race Against Time and Shadows
Ridhi calls Savi. “Sai’s missing!” Savi sprints home. Bhagyashree blocks her. “This is your fault!” Ridhi adds, “Sai told the counsellor about the stars.” Savi freezes. “I mentioned stars once… she thinks Sriharikota’s the key.” She dials emergency services. “Find a girl heading to the airport.” Bhagyashree calls Srichand. “Track Sai—fast!” Sai clutches her ticket, weaving through crowds. A beggar eyes her money. “Rich kid,” he mutters. A gang trails her. Sai buys a juice box, unaware of the eyes on her. “Gotcha!” a man growls, yanking her bag. Sai bolts, sprinting past taxis and suitcases. “Get her!” the beggar shouts. Neil spots the chaos, stepping in. “This way!” he barks, yanking Sai into an alley. They duck behind bins as the gang races past. “Why chase you?” Neil asks. Sai hugs herself. “I have money. And I’m going to meet my dad.” Neil softens. “He’s in Sriharikota?” Sai nods. “He became a star.”
Scene 4: Hospital Reunions and New Beginnings
At City Hospital, Sai bandages her scraped knee. Neil winces, holding his head. “We’re both broken,” Sai notes. She grins. “I’ll call you Pookie. Teju’s name was Pookie too, right?” Neil smirks. “Guess so.” Sai leans closer. “Why did Dad become a star?” Neil hesitates. “Maybe he wanted to watch you grow.” Sai nods. “I’ll wait for him.” Savi rushes in, hugging Sai. Bhagyashree follows, scolding, “Never run off again!” Neil interrupts. “Someone set that fire. Teju’s death wasn’t an accident.” Savi’s jaw tightens. “Rajat’s truth is buried there. I’ll dig it up.” Outside, rain pelts the windows. Inside, Sai sleeps, clutching Neil’s phone. Savi whispers to Neil, “Tell me everything.” Neil gestures to the flames still smoldering across town. “Start with who hates the truth more than fire.”
