Scene 1: A Leap of Courage and a Vanishing Act
Teju’s heart pounds as she leaps from the window, her feet hitting the ground hard. She ignores the fear clawing at her chest—Neil’s life depends on her speed. Meanwhile, Yash slams the car trunk shut after packing luggage. A loud thud echoes from the house, making Yash pause. But before he can investigate, Nandini’s sharp voice cuts through the air: “Yash! Come now! We’re wasting time!” Yash shrugs, climbs into the driver’s seat, and peels out of the driveway. Hidden inside the trunk, Teju curls into a ball, clutching her bag and whispering the Mahadev mantra under her breath. Back inside, Amruta hands Prachi a plate of food. “Take this to Teju,” she says. “We must treat her kindly while she’s here.” Prachi nods and marches down the hallway. But when she pushes open Teju’s door, the room is empty. The plate clatters to the floor as Prachi races back, shouting, “She’s gone!”
Manjari folds her arms. “You all insulted her without listening. Of course, she left.” Leena snaps, “We had good reasons to scold her!” Amruta paces. “What if she went to her mother’s house? She’ll twist the story and turn her family against us.” Rithu Raj smirks, his voice low. “Lucky Nandini overheard everything. Otherwise, Teju might’ve framed me.” Manjari glares. “Boys like you cause trouble nine times out of ten. I believe her, not you.” Rithu’s smile fades. “I love Neil! Teju’s the liar.” Bhushan interrupts, “Enough! Vinod, call her family and check if she’s there.”
Scene 2: A Dangerous Road and a Twisted Encounter
Leena dials Mukta’s number, her tone icy. “Where’s your useless daughter?” Mukta flinches. “Why are you speaking like this?” Leena growls, “She’s probably in Rithu’s room again.” Mukta hesitates. “Maybe… she came to talk to him?” “Of course you’d defend her!” Leena hisses. “Is she at your house?” Mukta whispers, “No.” Leena snarls, “If she contacts you, tell her to stay away from Neil—or face jail.” Mukta drops the phone, trembling. In the car, Teju hears Nandini groan, “My head hurts. Stop for water.” As Yash parks at a roadside stall, Teju slips out of the trunk, melting into the shadows. Once the car speeds off, she pulls out her phone and dials Surwa. “Where are you?” she demands. Surwa replies, “Near Konkan. But Nandini told me not to mention you.” Teju’s voice hardens. “Tell them I’m coming.”
At home, Rithu Raj grins to himself. “You’re chasing Neil, Teju? I’ll make sure you chase me instead.” Bhushan barks, “Find her and send her to her mother’s house before they sue us!” Teju flags down a truck, bribing the driver to take her to Konkan. But as the vehicle rolls down a lonely stretch, Rithu Raj steps onto the road, waving his arms. The driver screeches to a halt. “Your engine’s smoking,” Rithu lies. “Let me check.” The driver hops out, and Rithu Raj grins at Teju. “Surprise.”
Scene 3: The Rescue That Divides
Teju recoils. “How did you find me?” Rithu Raj taps his phone. “Traced your number. You’re wasting time chasing Neil. Come back to me.” He reaches for her hand, but she jerks away. “I’m Neil’s wife. Stay away!” Rithu Raj laughs. “Everything’s fair in love and war.” Near the landslide site, Surwa argues with Nandini. “Teju called. She’s on her way.” Nandini snaps, “Tell her to vanish!” But when Teju arrives, she storms past them, grabbing Surwa’s arm. “Where’s Neil?” Nandini shouts, “Leave now!” Jeetu intervenes. “Stop bullying her!”
Suddenly, Rithu Raj strolls up. “Bhushan sent me to find Neil and Teju.” Teju’s eyes blaze. “I’ll expose you soon!” She charges toward the restricted zone, police officers shouting, “It’s dangerous!” But Teju ignores them, pulling a flare gun from her pocket. “I’ll find him—and you’ll see!” Rain pelts the ground as Teju scrambles over rocks, spotting Neil’s car buried in mud. She spots his glasses, then his limp body under a tree. A branch pins his leg. Teju shoves the branch aside, shaking him. “Neil! Wake up!” He doesn’t move. She fires the flare. Red light streaks into the sky. Rescuers race to her, lifting Neil onto a stretcher. Paramedics murmur, “His wife saved him.” But as the ambulance doors close, Nandini barks, “Teju, go home! You’re not riding with him!”
Scene 4: Shadows and Whispers
Back in Nagpur, the family debates Neil’s recovery. Vinod urges, “We must go to Konkan!” Bhushan agrees, and the group piles into cars. The next day, reporters swarm the hospital. A TV anchor declares, “Two bodies found in jungle accident! Neil mourns Teju beside her corpse, while Savi grieves near Rajat’s remains.” Cut to a dark forest: Neil kneels in the mud, clutching Teju’s lifeless hand. Savi sobs over Rajat’s still body. The screen fades as raindrops blur the tragedy.
