Welcome to Jhanak Written Update 30th April 2025. In this written update, we follow the ongoing story of our favourite characters as they face new challenges, share emotional moments, and continue their journey. In Today’s Episode, Anirudh cuts ties with Arshi and stands firm in his decision. In the village, Parashar shocks everyone by accepting Nutan’s child as his own. Apu’s loved ones rally around her as she bravely faces her illness….. Scene 1: The Cracks in a Marriage
Anirudh sits alone, lost in thought. His mind replays the moment Jhanak had told him to cancel the wedding. Just then, Arshi enters and questions why he left his room. Calm but firm, Anirudh replies that he can stay wherever he wants, and she has no right to question him. Arshi reminds him they are still married. But Anirudh doesn’t care. He suddenly brings up Siddharth, saying he heard Siddharth went abroad with a girl. He sarcastically calls it Arshi’s karma. She’s shocked. She asks if he’s going to divorce her. Anirudh nods. But he tells her that his personal life is no longer open for discussion with her. Arshi asks, “What about me?”
Without hesitation, Anirudh responds that he never asked her to stay in his house. She tells him to come back to their room. He refuses and tells her to leave. Then, Arshi makes a sharp comment. She says Jhanak will return to him because she’s used to doing that. Anirudh tells her his anger might finally go down if Jhanak does come back. Arshi claims he’s insulting her now. Just then, Shubhankar and Tanuja walk in. Arshi wastes no time in informing them that Anirudh has moved into the guest room. Anirudh says the only reason Arshi is still standing in front of him is because she has no shame. He begs them all to stop torturing him. Shubhankar and Tanuja ask him to stay with Arshi. But he flat-out tells them to leave too.
Scene 2: A Village Uproar Over a City Girl
Meanwhile, in the village, Kanka is upset. She meets the Sarpanch and demands justice. She says Parashar brought a girl from the city into the village, breaking the very rule he had made — that no city person can stay here. Sarpanch listens. He says that if Parashar is married to the girl, there’s nothing he can do. But Kanka insists that Parashar needs to be questioned in front of the whole village. The Sarpanch agrees and sends his assistant to summon Parashar. Later, Kanka brings Nutan and her baby to the Sarpanch’s house. The Sarpanch asks Parashar what the situation is. Bua steps in to say they don’t know anything about Nutan.
Sarpanch then turns to Parashar and asks why he’s standing by Nutan. Parashar says he already explained himself once, and if they don’t accept his decision, he will leave the village forever. Kanka steps forward and accuses him of trying to scare them. Parashar clearly states that he never loved Kanka and never promised to marry her. Bua supports this, saying he even refused when she had asked him to marry Kanka.
Scene 3: Nutan’s Stand
Kanka mocks Nutan for arriving with Parashar. Nutan doesn’t stay quiet. She scolds Kanka and warns her not to speak that way. Sarpanch then asks Nutan about her side of the story. Nutan explains that Parashar helped her during a tough time, and she accepted the help for her baby’s sake. Sarpanch then says that if she isn’t Parashar’s wife, she cannot stay in the village. He turns to Parashar and asks him to speak the truth. At this, Nutan says she will leave the village. Parashar immediately asks her where she plans to go. Nutan says the villagers will never accept her. Kanka cuts in again, this time suggesting Nutan is trying to gain sympathy. Nutan firmly tells her that she isn’t afraid of anyone. She warns Kanka not to test her patience, questioning how Kanka can act this way without any shame.
Scene 4: Apu’s Brave Heart
In another place, Apu isn’t feeling well. Lalon tries to comfort her, saying the doctor will make her better. Kajol tells Lalon that Apu should be admitted to the hospital. But Apu refuses. She promises to behave and stay at home like a good girl. Then she softly asks Kajol if she’s going to die. Kajol tells her not to say such things and assures her she will be okay. Anuradha hugs Apu and prays to God not to take Apu away. Apu, trying to lighten the mood, tells everyone not to cry — or she’ll eat all the sweets. She jokes that she isn’t dead yet. Lalon promises to stay with her always. Anuradha also tells him that nothing will happen to Apu. Apu says she wants to be with her family in her final days. Kajol tells her that they will not give up and will fight cancer together. Apu says no one will come to visit her in the hospital. Kajol promises she will. She begs Apu to get the treatment — not for herself, but for them.
Scene 5: The Shocking Truth
Back in the village, the debate continues. Kanka warns the villagers that Nutan will destroy Parashar’s life. The Sarpanch tries to calm her down. He then asks Nutan who the baby’s father is. Nutan stays silent. The Sarpanch repeats his question. Just then, Parashar steps up and says, “I am the father.” Everyone is stunned. Nutan is especially shocked. Parashar declares that his child has a right to live in the village.
