The prototype reportedly includes a 200-megapixel main sensor, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide angle camera, and a 200-megapixel telephoto lens featuring 4x optical zoom. This new configuration indicates that Samsung may eliminate two telephoto sensors from the previous model, the Galaxy S25 Ultra, which had a more complex quad-camera system. The S25 Ultra’s setup included a 200-megapixel main camera, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, a 20-megapixel telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, and another 50-megapixel telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom.
Additionally, there are rumors that Samsung might reintroduce variable aperture technology on the main sensor, enhancing the camera’s versatility. This change could significantly improve low-light photography and overall image quality, making the S26 Ultra a strong contender in the flagship smartphone market.
Battery and S Pen Innovations
