Jhanak Written Update 19th March 2025

Scene 1: Aniruddh’s Confession and Jhanak’s Dilemma

Aniruddh sits beside Jhanak, a soft smile on his face. “It’s been so long since we sat together like this. It feels nice,” he says. Jhanak rolls her eyes. “You deserve this treatment after everything you’ve done.” Aniruddh sighs. “You don’t know me fully. I’m not a bad person. I tried to make Arshi happy, but I failed. She won’t divorce me, though.” Jhanak snaps, “I was forced to get a degree and divorce you. Don’t act like you’re innocent.” Aniruddh leans closer. “If I had stopped you back then, would you have chosen me?” Jhanak frowns. “What are you saying?” He looks down. “You think I’m a cheater, but you don’t know my good side. Remember how I saved you from Tejas?” Jhanak softens slightly. “I haven’t forgotten. But your actions speak louder than words.” Aniruddh’s voice trembles. “Do you still love me?” Jhanak hesitates. “I don’t even know what love is anymore.” He insists, “I believe we still love each other.” Jhanak shakes her head. “That’s your belief, not mine.”

Aniruddh pleads, “Say you want to live with me, and I’ll prove I’m not a coward.” Jhanak scoffs. “Aren’t you ashamed? You just lost your child! I won’t marry someone like you. I have no reason to choose you.” Aniruddh presses, “Just tell me—do you love me or not?” Jhanak looks away. “I’m indebted to you. That’s all.” He demands, “I need a clear answer.” Jhanak stands. “Don’t ask me this again.” As she walks away, Jhanak thinks, I can’t tell him I love him. Aniruddh watches her, whispering, “I never stopped loving you.”

Scene 2: The Doctor’s Visit and Jimli’s Silence

A doctor arrives at Lalon’s house. “I came for a seminar and thought I’d visit Apu,” she explains. Arundhati smiles. “Jimli, make tea for the doctor.” Jimli stays silent, her eyes downcast. Kajol steps in. “I’ll make it.” The doctor kneels beside Apu. “Are you okay?” Apu glares. “You’re a bad person. Leave!” The doctor pulls out a chocolate bar. “I brought this for my friend Apu.” Apu hesitates but takes the chocolate and runs outside with Jimli. The doctor turns to Arundhati. “Jimli seems… traumatized. Bring her and Apu to the clinic next time. They need sessions together.” She leaves, and Apu returns, handing the doctor candies.

Scene 3: Bipasha’s Struggle and Jhanak’s Support

Bipasha approaches Anjana. “I want to help you. Teach me how to work.” Anjana smiles. “Jhanak’s already helping, but everything will be fine.” Jhanak asks Bipasha, “Will you leave the house in seven days?” Bipasha sighs. “I don’t want to, but Laal doesn’t want me here. What can I do?” Meanwhile, Laal complains to Shubhankar. “I hate staying in this house.” Shubhankar scolds him. “Focus on your work!” Tanuja adds, “Nandini and Bipasha tricked Laal.” Shubhankar nods. “Bipasha should’ve talked to you, Tanuja.” At breakfast, Laal refuses to eat when Bipasha serves him. “I won’t eat if she’s here,” he says. Tanuji snaps, “You don’t deserve forgiveness, Bipasha.” Shubhankar tells Anjana to serve instead.

Jhanak steps in. “I’ll serve.” Shubhankar glares. “You’re not family. You’re only here because you’re Arshi’s sister.” Bipasha pleads, “I understand Laal’s anger, but I don’t want to leave.” Jhanak defends her. “We don’t decide for our parents. Laal, you can’t do this to Bipasha.” Laal snaps, “Stay out of my matters!” Jhanak fires back, “I’ll say what’s right.” Shubhankar interrupts. “I asked for breakfast, not a lecture.” Tanuji questions Jhanak’s support for Bipasha. Anjana adds, “Bipasha is Laal’s wife. How can he throw her out?” Jhanak turns to Bipasha. “Use your rights as a wife.” Shubhankar warns, “Arshi might file a case against you, Jhanak.” Jhanak stands firm. “I believe the baby is alive. The truth will come out.”

Scene 4: Arshi’s Decision and Shubhankar’s Plan

Shubhankar tells Arshi, “Jhanak’s trying to win Aniruddh back.” Tanuji adds, “We couldn’t even see the baby’s face because of her.” Arshi asks, “What should I do?” Shubhankar smirks. “File a case against Jhanak.”
