C. Vijaya Raghava Chariar (18 June 1852 – 19 April 1943), an Indian politician, and a well-known national leader. He was a member of the Legislative Council from 1885 to 1901. Vijay Raghava Chariar had been the President of the annual session of the Congress held in Nagpur in 1920. In this session, the proposal of Gandhiji’s non-cooperation movement was considered. But even after his opposition, Congress accepted the proposal of non-cooperation. He was born on 18 June 1852 in Pon Vilaindha Kalathur, Chengalpattu district, Madras Presidency.
Anugrah Narayan Singh (18 June 1887 – 5 July 1957), an Indian politician and the first Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar, cum Finance Minister (1946–1957), and known as ‘Bihar Vibhuti’. He was an Indian freedom fighter, teacher, lawyer, politician, and the builder of modern Bihar. He was a warrior of the freedom movement. After independence, he actively contributed to the works of nation-building and public welfare. Anugrah Babu played an important role in the national movement along with Mahatma Gandhi and Dr. Rajendra Prasad. He was born on 18 June 1887 in Aurangabad, Bengal Presidency, British India (now in Bihar, India).
Shankar Trimbak Dharmadhikari (18 June 1899 – 1 December 1985), an Indian freedom fighter, writer, and Gandhian thinker. He was one of the active workers of ‘Gandhi Seva Sangh’. You were better known as ‘Dada Dharmadhikari’. Dada Dharmadhikari devoted most of his time to the upliftment of Dalits and women. He had good knowledge of Hindi, Sanskrit, Marathi, Bengali, Gujarati, and English languages. As a writer, more than two dozen of his books were published. He was born on 18 June 1899.
P. Kakkan (18 June 1908 – 23 December 1981), an Indian politician and freedom fighter who served as a member of the Constituent Assembly of India, Member of Parliament, President of the Tamil Nadu Congress Committee and in various ministerial posts in Congress governments in the erstwhile Madras state between 1957 and 1967. He was born on 18 June 1908 in Thumbaipatti, Melur, Madras Presidency, British India.
K.S Sudarshan (18 June 1931 – 15 September 2012), the fifth Sarsanghchalak of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). In March 2009, Mohan Bhagwat was voluntarily relieved by appointing him as the sixth Sarsanghchalak. Be it the Khalistan problem of Punjab or the anti-infiltration movement of Assam, due to his deep study and clear direction of thinking, he gave concrete suggestions for their solution. Sudarshan was born on 18 June 1931 in Raipur, Madhya Pradesh (now Chhattisgarh).

Seth Govind Das (16 October 1896 – 18 June 1974), an Indian freedom fighter, parliamentarian, and Hindi writer. He belongs to the Indian National Congress Political party. Govind Das was a strong supporter of Hindi as the official language of India. He was awarded the Padma Bhushan in 1961 in the field of literature and education by the Government of India. He died on 18 June 1974 in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
Naseem Bano (4 July 1916 – 18 June 2002), a leading Indian film actress in Hindi films of the forties. This actress, who made the audience crazy with her captivating performances in the Indian cine world. She was called the “Beauty Queen” for her beauty. Another famous actress of Hindi cinema, Saira Bano is the daughter of Naseem Bano. Some of her notable works include Pukar (1939), Anokhi Ada (1948), and Sheesh Mahal (1950). Bano died on 18 June 2002 at the age of 85 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
Syed Mushtaq Ali (17 December 1914 – 18 June 2005), an Indian cricketer, a right-handed opening batsman who holds the divergence of scoring the first overseas Test century by an Indian player. He scored 112 against England at Old Trafford in 1936. Ali was a right-handed batsman and a slow left-arm orthodox spin bowler. He bowled frequently enough in domestic matches to be classified as an all-rounder but only occasionally in test matches. The Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy is named after him. It is a domestic Twenty20 cricket championship in India, organized by Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), among the teams from the Ranji Trophy. Ali got awarded with Padma Shri in 1964. He died on 18 June 2005 at the age of 90 in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India.
