Scene 1 – Missing Ruhi, Hidden Worries
Abhira walks into the hotel lobby and freezes: Ruhi’s room is empty, her suitcase gone. “She left without a word,” Abhira whispers, fear tugging at her voice. Armaan storms in, checks the front desk record, and slams the book shut. “How could Ruhi check out alone?” he barks. His anger masks deep worry for Ruhi and her unborn baby.
While Abhira calls Ruhi again and again, the story switches to another corner of the city. Kiara sits on her bed, phone in hand, staring at Abhir’s picture. Did he notice me yesterday? she wonders. Tears threaten because she fears losing him. Manisha steps in and asks, “Are you happy with Abhir?” Kiara forces a bright smile. “He loves me a lot, Mami,” she lies.
Manisha sighs in relief, then says she felt sad when Kiara and her sister‑in‑law Charu stopped talking. The moment Manisha leaves, Kiara’s mask drops. Charu’s text pops up, “Meet me when you can.” Kiara’s mind spins between Abhir and Charu, piling fresh anxiety on her already shaky heart.

Scene 2 – The Unplanned Homecoming
Kaveri stands in the hallway blessing young Krish on his first day at the family law firm when the front door opens. Ruhi steps in, suitcase rolling behind her. Gasps ripple through the Poddars. Vidya asks at once, “Where are Armaan and Abhira?” Before Ruhi can answer, Armaan and Abhira rush in with toddler Daksh. Armaan improvises, “Ruhi got home early; we stayed back to fetch Daksh.” Vidya’s face softens. “So, did you three enjoy the vacation?” All three nod and mumble “Yes, Maa,” hiding every crack in that story. Trying to lift spirits, Vidya hands Armaan his late brother Rohit’s sunglasses. “Wear these, beta.” Armaan slips them on to please her, though his thoughts sit heavy on Ruhi’s sudden escape. Ruhi stands by the stairs, unsure where to look or what to feel.
Upstairs, Abhira sits next to Ruhi and says gently, “Tell me what is really wrong.”
Ruhi puts on a brave face. “Hormones. They made me restless, so I checked out early.” Abhira gives her a side hug: “Okay, but next time call me.” When Armaan appears, Ruhi’s breath catches; memories of their past friendship flood her mind and she breaks down. Seeing her tears, Abhira decides to keep Ruhi company all night and invites Armaan to stay as well. He shakes his head and leaves, unable to handle the swirl of feelings. After he exits, Abhira turns to Ruhi and says softly, “Armaan isn’t the answer you need now. Let him go, just for your own peace.”
Scene 3 – Tangled Hearts, Silent Promises
Later, Abhira finds Armaan pacing in the courtyard. He vents, “Ruhi risked her life and the baby’s. I can’t forgive that!” Abhira places a calming hand on his arm. “She acted out of fear, not spite. Wait for the baby. Then talk.” Armaan nods, the edge in his voice fading. Ruhi falls asleep and dreams: in that dream, Abhira waves goodbye and walks far away, leaving Armaan alone. Ruhi wakes with a jolt, tears wetting her pillow.
Morning comes. Abhira plays peek‑a‑boo with Daksh. Vidya picks the boy up and sends Abhira to the firm. She notices Abhira’s shoes—Ruhi had asked all women to avoid shoes for easy blessings on the baby, yet Abhira wears them. Abhira explains, “Ruhi makes many sacrifices; I wear shoes so she feels less alone in giving things up.” Vidya smiles at the solidarity, but Kaveri frowns, seeing only defiance. Ruhi, thinking Armaan and Abhira have already left, steps into the corridor. Rain drips through a balcony leak and soaks Armaan’s fresh‑ironed shirt on the drying rack. Ruhi hurries over and lifts it before another drop lands. Her heart pinches: Abhira should be the one caring for him, not me. She folds the shirt and sets it aside, her mind spinning with guilt, affection, and confusion.
