Union Minister of Youth Affairs & Sports, Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, closed the Two-Day National Convention of District Youth Officers (DYOs) in New Delhi today. He spoke about the important role Indiaโ€™s young people will play in making the country developed by 2047, as envisioned by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Dr. Mandaviya encouraged the DYOs to inspire and guide the youth in their areas to contribute to the nationโ€™s progress. He said, โ€œIndiaโ€™s youth are the key to our future growth. We need to use new ideas, technology, and on-the-ground efforts to empower them.โ€

One major focus of the convention was the new MY Bharat platform. This tool offers young people many opportunities to learn new skills, develop leadership qualities, and take part in government programs. Dr. Mandaviya asked the officers to make the most of MY Bharat, helping young people connect with various government initiatives. He said that this platform can open new doors for youth and help them grow in different ways.

The convention also featured discussions on important topics like Indiaโ€™s growth, youth-led projects, and how technology can help with government and civic projects. District Youth Officers shared ideas and best practices on themes like Viksit Bharat 2047, Health, Cyber Security, Entrepreneurship, FIT India Clubs, and the Swachh Bharat Mission.

This event, organized by the Department of Youth Affairs, aims to tap into the power of Indiaโ€™s young people and direct their energy towards the nationโ€™s progress. By promoting cooperation, innovation, and digital engagement, the convention set the stage for youth to lead India into a brighter future by 2047.
