Xiaomi 15T Series Rumored Launch Sparks Excitement

Xiaomi is reportedly gearing up to unveil its next-generation T series smartphones, the Xiaomi 15T and Xiaomi 15T Pro. Although the official launch is still some time away, leaks have begun to surface, revealing intriguing details about these upcoming models. Recent reports indicate the codenames and specifications for the Xiaomi 15T series, hinting at powerful performance features that could attract tech enthusiasts worldwide.

Leaked Codenames and Model Numbers

According to a report from Smartprix, references to the Xiaomi 15T series have been discovered in the latest HyperOS 2.1 code. The Xiaomi 15T is codenamed “klimt,” while the Xiaomi 15T Pro is referred to as “turner.” These names pay homage to renowned artists, Austrian painter Gustav Klimt and British painter J.M.W. Turner, respectively. This artistic inspiration adds a unique touch to the branding of Xiaomi’s new devices.

Interestingly, the upcoming Redmi K80 Ultra shares the same internal codename as the Xiaomi 15T Pro, suggesting that both models may feature similar specifications. However, the Redmi K80 Ultra is expected to remain exclusive to the Chinese market, while the Xiaomi 15T Pro aims for a broader global release. The model numbers for the global and Japanese variants of the Xiaomi 15T Pro are reported as “2506BPN68G” and “2506BPN68R,” respectively. The Redmi K80 Ultra is identified by the model number “25060RK16C,” and the global version of the Xiaomi 15T is listed as “25069PTEBG.” Both the Xiaomi 15T and 15T Pro are anticipated to launch in September, alongside the Xiaomi Mix Flip 2, although they may not be available in India.

Powerful Chipsets for Enhanced Performance

The Xiaomi 15T series is expected to deliver impressive performance, with the Xiaomi 15T featuring a MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultra chipset. In contrast, the Xiaomi 15T Pro is rumored to be powered by the more advanced MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ SoC. These chipsets are designed to enhance processing speed and efficiency, making the devices suitable for demanding applications and multitasking. Last year, Xiaomi launched the Xiaomi 14T and Xiaomi 14T Pro, which showcased 6.67-inch displays with refresh rates of up to 144Hz and peak brightness levels reaching 4,000 nits. These models were equipped with MediaTek Dimensity chipsets and featured Leica-tuned triple rear cameras, along with robust 5,000mAh batteries and IP68 ratings for water and dust resistance. The upcoming Xiaomi 15T series is expected to build on this legacy, offering even more advanced features and specifications.

What to Expect from the Xiaomi 15T Series

As anticipation builds for the Xiaomi 15T series, tech enthusiasts are eager to see how these devices will compare to their predecessors. With the integration of cutting-edge chipsets and the potential for enhanced camera capabilities, the Xiaomi 15T and 15T Pro could set new benchmarks in the smartphone market. The focus on global availability also indicates Xiaomi’s commitment to expanding its reach and catering to a wider audience.
